15.01.2022 Are you a current Knights player who has an interest in learning how to coach and develop your leadership skills? Come and be a part of our Knights Coaches Development Program for 2021 and work with our younger players. You don't need to have any prior coaching experience, just a positive attitude towards learning. As part of the program you'll be allocated to one of our junior teams, with the head coach being your mentor. You will attend the training & games of this te...am (unless your own game time is a clash) and learn the ropes of coaching, whilst of course having lots of footy fun and contributing back to our great club. You'll build a rapport with younger players, who will look up to you as a role model and develop your leadership skills. Our key objective of this project is to build a pipeline of junior coaches, providing opportunities for both our girls and boys to be the head coaches of tomorrow. 13.01.2022 Malvern Districts Auskick (MDA) are looking for U14, U16 or U18 Knights footy players to come down and be a "Red Shirt Coach" for the Auskick Girls group on Saturdays for 1.5hrs starting on 24 April. We have found that the Auskickers really appreciate having a current knights player as a coach as it helps them develop their skills and It can also be a great way for you to obtain any community service, Duke of Edinburgh etc requirements you might need to do. If you can provide only a couple of weeks of your time or all the whole season it will be appreciated.
