17.01.2022 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone, so here’s a happy ‘tail’ as we move on to 2021 Lilly was brought to us by a concerned member of the public who had noticed her often wandering near their house. After checking her microchip and contacting her owners, we found that Lilly had been missing for a whole year! Lucky Lilly will now be spending her New Years Eve curled up with her happy humans Of course you should always keep your pet’s microchip details up t...o date, but it is extra important around New Years Eve with loud noises and parties. If your pet goes missing you will be reunited with them much quicker if the details are correct. We wish all our clients and furry family members a Happy New Year and safe and memorable 2021 We will be closed on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of January, reopening on the 4th January. See more
12.01.2022 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS PETS AND HOLIDAY ANXIETY Did you know pets can experience holiday stress and anxiety, just like us? ... Changes in routines, constant visitors and noises like fireworks and parties can cause anxiety in our pets. Here are a few simple tips to keep their troubles out of sight and have a merry little Christmas! Try and maintain your usual routine as much as possible (for example daily walks etc.) Make sure pets have a quiet space to retreat to when guests are visiting. For noisy days or nights, make sure your pet is safe and secure and has a dark quiet place to relax. If your pet is overly distressed by noise consult us for more advice as there are actions and medications that can help with this. Use an artificial pheromone to help calm your pets, such as Adaptil or Feliway (ask us for more info!) #eastmalvernvet #emvc #merryhissmas #santapaws See more
