25.01.2022 Today is R U OK? Day and now more than ever is an important time to check in on your mates and family. This simple question can go a long way in supporting those who are doing it tough and the club staunchly believes fostering open conversation about our current headspace is a vital aspect of constructing a healthy mindset and building it up for those who don't. This year has been a tough year for all Australians and the feeling of isolation is something that most people hav...e felt at some stage dont forget not just today but all the time to check in on your mates From the chaplain RUOK day is a gentle reminder that that we need each other not only to survive but to thrive - enjoying everything that life has to offer individually and collectively in our great club. Because we need each other we will look for ways to build stronger connections. A simple encouraging SMS, a snail mail card, a phone call can make a huge difference to a persons wellbeing. To ask RUOK? is not intrusive but shows we care about each other and want the best for them. Each day can be an RUOK day. It may not need to be explicitly that but checking in on each other makes a real difference. Can I gently ask RUOK?. If you are struggling at the moment (and all of us do at various times in our life) can I encourage you to connect with someone you trust. A conversation can make a world of difference. The club also has a range of resources available to help you through difficult times. You are welcome to ring me 0448 811 506 at any stage.

She passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family on Sunday evening. We extend our deepest thoughts to the family at this difficult time. #RIP

The Freedom Initiative was established in 2015 as a not-for-profit organisation, with a vision of bringing hope and a sense of community to Maroondah City Council residents who struggle to put food on the table. Since COVID-19, TFIs capacity to support its community has doubled by 100%, it is now supporting 80+ families per month. Our donation is expected to enable TFI to continue providing nutritious food for over 200 people - how can that not make you smile?

The vets team is for ladies 35 and over and play every second week, everyone is welcome to come along for a run. We also need players for our women’s team and under 18’s so if you are 16 or older and you have thought about playing footy then come along and have some fun. We are a friendly, family oriented club who are committed to enjoyment, improvement and success. Training is at Glen Park and starts at 5.30.
