24.01.2022 We would like to welcome Dr Leilani Corbett back after her Maternity Leave. Dr Leilani Corbett is a qualified general practitioner and experienced in many aspects of general practice including chronic disease management, skin cancer medicine, travel medicine and sexual health. She prefers to take a holistic approach to medicine and is passionate about the benefits of mindfulness meditation. Dr Corbett is dedicated to providing care to children and their families and has fur...thered her interest in Paediatrics with a Diploma in Child Health. She is an accredited Neuroprotective Developmental Care practitioner, encompassing the "Possums" gestalt breastfeeding and sleep programs. Prior to undertaking general practitioner training, she trained in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (completing a DRANZCOG Adv.). She is competent in the insertion of all contraceptive devices including intrauterine devices. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, walking the dog and spending time with her family. 23.01.2022 Dr Natalie Bennie graduated from the University of Queensland in 2006 and was made a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2011. She has been working in Toowoomba since 2011. Her interests include all aspects of womens health, paediatrics and general medicine. She was awarded a diploma in child health in 2013. Degree: Bachelor of Medicine University of Queensland 2006, FRACGP. Speciality: Womens Health, Paediatrics & General Medicine.

23.01.2022 Dr Rebecca Lyon graduated from Griffith University in 2009 and obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australian Collage of General Practitioners in 2016. Rebecca enjoys working in all aspects of general practice and family medicine. Degree: Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery Griffith University 2009, FRACGP. 04.01.2022 Dr. Fiona Stobbs was trained in Queensland graduating from the University of Queensland in 1997. Dr. Fiona Stobbs was made a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2001 and has been working in Toowoomba since 2004. Dr. Stobbs has an interest in geriatric health, diabetes and general medical conditions. Dr. Stobbs also has an interest in managing patients with mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. She enjoys dealing with womens health issues fr...om contraception, to infertility, to pregnancy care as well as problems related to menopause. Degree: MBBS, FRACGP. Speciality: Geriatric Health, Diabetes, General Medical Conditions, Mental Health Management and Womens Health Issues including Pregnancy, Infertility and also Menopause. Experience: 20 Years.

04.01.2022 Dr. Kathleen Holcombe undertook medical training at the University of Queensland graduating in 2007. After completing residency at Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital and The Royal Childrens Hospital, she moved to Melbourne to undertake general practice training becoming a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012. Dr. Holcombe has also completed a Clinical Diploma of Palliative Medicine through the College of Physicians and a Diploma of Child H...ealth through Westmead Childrens Hospital. Dr. Holcombe has an interest in chronic disease management, metabolic conditions (type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, obesity, etc) nutritional and environmental medicine, paediatrics and dermatology. Degree: MBBS, FRACGP. Speciality: Chronic Disease Management, Womens Health including Fertility & Pregnancy Care, Obesity Management, Paediatrics and Dermatology.

04.01.2022 Dr Kieran McCartney completed a Bachelor of Science in 2010 and went on to study a Doctor of Medicine in 2014. Working in Adelaide Hospital prior to joining General Practice . Kieran grew up in Toowoomba attending Downlands Collage and has returned to his home town. Degree: MBBS, FRACGP. Speciality: Skin Cancer Diagnosis, Management, Surgery and Family Care.

02.01.2022 A very warm welcome to Dr Julie Hadzic who has just joined our team of Doctors at Eastside Health on Mary. Dr Hadzic will be joining us as a full time doctor working Monday to Friday. Dr Hadzic did a Bachelor of Science at Louisiana Tech University before retiring home to complete her medical degree from the University of Queensland in 2013. She has worked in metropolitan and rural emergency departments before entering general practice. Her interests include sports medicine..., child and adolescent health, preventative health, general medicine and palliative care. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her partner and their dogs, mountain biking and reading. Dr Hadzic is currently excepting New Patients.
