A truly rewarding aspect of our jobs is when we are able to help treat assistance dogs and ensure they are able to get back on track with their wellness as quickly as possible especially so they can fulfil their extremely important jobs. 17.01.2022 Did you know? This month Eastside Veterinary Clinic has teamed up with the incredible South Australian charity Paws For Change! Paws For Change is a registered Australian charity dedicated to improving the lives of animals on both a local and global scale. They work tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals in need around the world. Their dedication and hard work have allowed them to save thousands of dogs each year, advocate for those without a voice, and to ...help them find their fur-ever homes! This year we have been fortunate enough to be able to stock some of their Christmas Gifts & Goodies! Of which 100% of the proceeds from the sales of these products go directly to the Paws For Change rescue program. Thankfully we have managed to get our paws on some extra Doggy Advent Calendars (as our last stock sold out in 4 days!). These beautiful dog safe treats are all locally handmade and crafted with love. We also have on good authority that they are just as delicious as they look. We also have some Christmas Bandana & Bow Tie Gift Boxes. The incredible sewing team from In Stitches, who are part of the MOBO Group, have done such an amazing job producing all of the Bandanas & Bow Ties in these Gift Boxes! We love that the Paws For Change products are all locally handmade and at every opportunity, they strive to support and give back to S.A communities. 13.01.2022 COVID-19 Update as of 18th of November, 2020. Dear Clients, Please be advised that after the South Australian Government announced the 6-day lockdown that we will now be following a strict protocol which aligns with this. ... Fortunately, we are considered to be an essential service and we have been advised by the Veterinary Surgeons Board of South Australia that we are able to remain open for all emergencies and critical services. If you think your pet may require an appointment please phone the clinic on (08) 8379 0222. In order to help keep our clients and staff members safe, we are putting the following measures in to place, while the lock down is in effect; When arriving for an appointment, please phone the clinic on (08) 8379 0222, to ensure the waiting room is appropriate to enter in to. Only one person per consultation is allowed. Clients will be required to wear face masks. Please call the clinic to pre-order all medications and food. We are only able to accept payment via EFTPOS until further notice. If you have any cold or flu-like symptoms or have been at any of the announced hotspot locations, we ask that you advise staff as soon as possible, so we can make alternative arrangements for you. Please remember that the health and well-being of you and your pet is still our upmost priority. We would like to reassure our clients that we will continue to have our regular operational hours during the lock down and our friendly staff are always available via phone to discuss any concerns or answer any questions you may have.
