19.01.2022 UNIFORM REMINDER: no grip socks are allowed on the trampolines - you just need plain socks, we recommend for level 3 and above trampoline shoes ( $30) but socks are fine for lower levels. Grip socks need to be worn for ninja classes. Both plain socks and grip socks are available in reception and we also have trampoline and double mini shoes for sale.

18.01.2022 ninja uniform: please check you have your uniform for class next week; head band EAC grip socks ninja t shirt... replacements are available if you have misplaced or grown out of it. For new members the uniform pack is $30 and has been included on your invoice for term 4.

17.01.2022 doing trampoline in term 4? what to wear on your feet 1. clean white socks are fine 2. no grip socks - they are fine for vinyl tramp beds but not for Olympic string beds 3. trampoline shoes - an option, we sell them for $30, the beds can be tough on your feet so these add a little protection and also give you grip - highly recommended for anyone level 4 and above.... we also sell double mini shoes, these are not suitable for the trampoline and can only be used on the dmt $60

17.01.2022 REMINDER CANCELLATION AND CLASS CHANGES FOR TERM 4 ARE DUE THIS WEEK. Afternoon ninjas will be getting a new enrollment form for term 4 as we have added another class Wed 4-5pm. We hope some of Tues 4-5pm can move to Wed so we can have less groups. Friday kindergym will stay at 9.30 and we encourage any children that are 4-5yrs to try Junior gymnastics which is also at 9.30am.

16.01.2022 The rhythmic girls are busy practicing for our RG spring time event - if you would like to come and watch them in action they will be competing Sunday November 1st 11-12.30 pm. Its a small group of 6 and they would love some spectators. Each girl performs a free hand routine and 2 other routines from ball, hoop, ribbon and clubs. The two apparatus is dependent on their level.

13.01.2022 What an amazing weekend- a ninja mission with 23 participants grading for either yellow or green, a 2 days of events at State championships - gymnasts competing level 7 and 10 Saturday evening and Sunday morning, National level trampoline athletes competing Saturday afternoon level 5-7, Gymnastics Tasmania awards night. All the athletes should be very proud of their performance both on the competition floor and off. A big thank you to the judges and coach's, we could not enter without them. Thank you to the spectators, it was lovely to see fellow athletes coming and supporting their club members.

12.01.2022 Aaron is one of Club Managers and is a coach, judge and athlete for Eastside Gymnastics Academy! Aaron has studied and coached in Victoria and has a Bachelor of Sports Coaching and Physical Education and holds a FIG 2 and Advanced Silver accreditation in Trampoline, Intermediate Tumbling and Intermediate Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coaching. During Aaron’s time in Victoria Aaron was also the Secretary for the Trampoline Gymsports Committee. Aaron coaches a wide variety of p...rograms at Eastside Gymnastics Academy from Ninja to Junior Jumpers to Sensory classses and our Pinnacle Squad pathways for Trampoline athletes. Aaron also assists with school groups and is well known for his tricks and demonstrations! Aaron has attended National Championships both as an official and an athlete. Aaron still trains as an athlete and has a long list of outstanding results including the Australian 17+ National DMT champion in 2014 and we look forward to seeing Aaron in action this year!

04.01.2022 Just to remind everyone that it is your responsibility to stay away from the gym if you or your child has nay COVID like symptoms. Everyone was sent information and there is signage around. We rely on people following the guidelines set. If people cannot follow the regulation as set out by Gymnastics Australia etc then the next step is take everyone temperature upon entry and ban spectators. We appreciate those that have been following and notifying us of absences and completing the COVID declaration form.
