20.01.2022 What’s the Latest around the Club? Not much has been happening with regard to the Playing side of the Club with the exception of the Junior Football and Netball and our thanks go out to those involved ensuring the Kids are still playing and representing our Club. It seems like forever that we have not been able to get together at Gumly and the withdrawals are hard to bear. However we do have a number of our Players representing Teams in the AFL Riverina Comp and Cootamundra a...nd we hope they are staying safe and wait for their return to the Hawks. Golf anyone EWK Inaugural GOLF Championship Anyone interested in a Social Game of Golf at Wagga City Golf Club on a Sunday commencing at 12 Noon? If you are, register your interest with Ken McPherson on 0409 290 118 and we will organise a Comp. Sponsors Don’t forget our major Sponsors they are extremely important to our Club so if you need a quick feed or would like to join in a drink with Mates, McDonalds and the Kooringal Hotel would love to see you. Also the many Sponsors with signs around the Ground deserve our support as well. Club AGM We will be holding our AGM probably in October/November, date to be advised, and will be looking for Nominations for the Committee. All positions on the Committee will be declared vacant at the AGM and it would be good to see elections required for all Positions. The Committee consists of the following: Executive President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary Committee 5 Members I trust that everyone is still enjoying the modified version of living and give you this thought to ponder on I still can’t believe peoples survival instincts told them to grab Toilet Paper

18.01.2022 Gumly Oval looking a perfect picture thanks to Dick and his new Mower. Beneficiaries of this have been the hardy souls at pre Season training enjoying what can only be described as ideal Training conditions. For those that have not attended Training yet why not come out and have a run to get some valuable run into your legs before relaxing over Christmas. Training is... on Tuesday Nights from 6PM and there will be another 2 - 3 runs before we take a break. So dust of the Boots and come on out to join in the fun that pre season Training can be. 16.01.2022 "Local Member Dr Joe McGirr presenting our new Mower to the Club. This Mower was obtained through the State Government's Community Building Partnership 2019 Grant Allocation and we are extremely happy that our Application was successful. Head Grounds Person, Richard Grieve is delighted with the new Mower and says it takes about half the time to mow the Ground compared to... the old Mower, even if it doesn't have a Steering wheel. 09.01.2022 **JUNIOR PRESENTATIONS** Due to Covid restrictions, we will be presenting our awards out after training this Thursday. Each team will stay in their groups after training and coaches will hand out awards. The same rules apply as game day with social distancing etc.... We are asking for volunteers to help out on this day. We will be having a meeting Thursday the 10th of September after junior training to work out volunteers. ... We would really appreciate it if we could get as many junior parents to help out as possible.
