09.01.2022 When we say we are building a stronger community we mean it. Over the last few weeks our community has managed to gather together a variety of sewing machines, many requiring fixing. Then we got a sewing teacher to train our older children. There was lots of fun and games (and a few broken needles) learning how to make proper face masks. A little production line was organised, with staff and kids together measuring, cutting, sewing and packing. So far almost 3,000 masks have been made, which we are distributing for free to local villages. Well done team. https://www.tewfa.org.au/donate

04.01.2022 Ever wonder where in India we are situated? Here we are on the southern coast between Chennai and Pondicherry.

04.01.2022 There's a good reason to run out and buy The Australian this weekend. Our patron, Ron Merkel QC is featured in an article in it's magazine. Written by Ross Bilton. Photos by Rod McNicol. It is a wonderful profile with mentions of Ron's love of India and support for the East West Foundation.

04.01.2022 Our Foundation is passionate about the environment. One of our many projects is the solar powered sewerage treatment system, which has just undergone some repairs by our staff. Helping the environment and employing locals. https://www.givenow.com.au/eastwestoverseasaid

03.01.2022 On annual Golf Day was held on 28th of February. It was a huge success raising around AU$45,000. This money contributes significantly in providing healthcare, education, relief and refuge for destitute children, and the overall development of sustainable, vibrant communities in Southern India. As our fundraising events are for the most part organised and staffed by volunteers, the Foundation’s overheads are kept to an absolute minimum. We can therefore direct the funds to those most in need. Thanks to everyone who helped to make this day a success!

02.01.2022 And the winner of the "Real Estate Cup" was the Jellis Craig team. Congratulations.
