25.01.2022 A very rewarding team to work for, Tessa is skilled at producing great athletes with a dedicated and wholistic approach to her care and management. Wishing them a safe and successful campaign at the Adelaide International 3 Day event.
24.01.2022 Mesotherapy is a technique used to complement other therapies in managing muscoluskeletal conditions in the sporthorse. Pioneered in France by a human physician to manage pain in humans, the technique has been successfully adapted for use in horses, with world renowned Jean-Marie Denoix being responsible for introducing the technique to equine veterinarians. The mesoderm ( layer in skin) is injected with small volumes of medication to block the pain pathways that are shared by larger nerve fibres from deeper structures of the same spinal segment to the brain. In my hands I find it helpful in cases of neck and back pain that are refractory to either acupuncture or local therapies alone.
20.01.2022 Meet Mr Black, he is an OTT making the transition from being a flat galloper to competition horse. There are many considerations with their change in management and routines, and of course the way they are schooled and ridden is a significant transition. They benefit from some pamper and balancing with regular equine therapies including acupuncture and chiropractic treatments. Mr Black is the lucky recipient of both.
20.01.2022 Jacinta is a talented horsewoman, highly recommend her for horse education and training.

14.01.2022 This quote resonates with me often as I assess my patients, contemplating the benefits of both western and eastern medicine approaches.
12.01.2022 I'm not sure if Lleuwella would agree, but hopefully we've seen the worst of the flies for the year. Ultimately it's very rewarding to help manage cases where owners are able to see their horses enjoying true 'horseplay'. Thanks for sharing Linda Starcevich
08.01.2022 Watch this video, it's as heartwarming as they come and makes your heart swell with love for the wonderful horses in our lives. On that note Merry Christmas everyone
06.01.2022 Being 'mindful' of these influences in our riding and interactions with horses is something we are probably all guilty of at some time or another 'overlooking'. Always worth considering when we are experiencing a riding issue with our horses.
