23.01.2022 On today is Ballarat PopCon 2019 at Eastwood Leisure Complex from 10am till 5pm. For more information on today's events head over to there event page. EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:... -Cosplay competition -Workshops by local pop-culture experts -Gaming by Guf Ballarat -LARP demos and tutorials -Market stalls -and more to be announced! Come hang out in your best cosplay and celebrate the media that enriches our lives! This event is all-ages, drug, alcohol, and smoking-free, and fully supervised. FReeZA is a Victorian Government initiative that supports young Victorians to get involved in their community by planning and running drug, smoke and alcohol-free music and cultural events for other young people.

21.01.2022 We have received word that our new website is finished, final checks are currently being run on the website to make sure everything is working as it should, we hope to have it go live at some stage on Monday afternoon. P.S: Remember it's still not too late to send in information on your user group to have it on the website if you have yet to do so. After it go live if you happen to find a mistake on your page please inform us and we'll make sure to have it fix ASAP.

21.01.2022 Important Dates Term 3 School holidays 24th September to 8th October. Eastwood Leisure Complex will be closed for Public Holiday on Friday 28th September.... VCAA EXAMS The Whole Complex will be booked out on the following dates from 8am through till 4pm to provide ideal conditions for Year 12 student sitting their Drama and Performance Exams VCAA Exams Dates: Wednesday 10th, Tuesday 23rd and Thursday 25th October. Please be aware if your Activity or Meeting is affected.

19.01.2022 To All Our Valued Patrons, Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the combination of the need to consider the health and safety of the Eastwood Leisure Complex staff and its many visiting groups from wide spectrum of the community. Together with the statement today from the Prime Minister to limit indoor group sizes to 100 for non-essential maters plus the decision by the City of Ballarat to close a range of public buildings and facilities has meant that this complex is now cl...osed until further notice. The Board and the staff will continue to monitor the situation and be guided by advice from Health Departments and Government directions as to when the return to normal activities and occupancy can occur. We will be reassessing the situation in the week commencing April 13 and if the signs are positive resumption may be possible in the following week. Committee of Management Eastwood Leisure Complex

18.01.2022 During the Ballarat International Foto Biennale we will be exhibiting an exhibition by artists at Pinarc Disability Support's Funky Arts Program as part of the Fringe Program on from 19 August The Funky Arts program offers opportunities for people with disabilities to express their creativity and learn new skills through music and art. The group has collaborated with local photographer Michelle Dunn as part of her With Camera in Hand program to develop skills in photography and create a body of work specifically for the Ballarat International Foto Biennale. 16.01.2022 Eastwood Leisure Complex will be on holidays from 12pm tomorrow (Friday) we reopen on the 8th January. During this time only permitted programs that have check with the office will be allowed to use the centre. No bookings will be taken over this break. Have yourself a great Christmas and New Year.

14.01.2022 Eastwood Leisure Complex would like to wish everyone a safe Merry Christmas and New Year. The Office will be closed over the holiday period from 22nd December till the 16th January 2017. During this time floor maintenance will be carried out. No Casual Bookings over the holiday period. Some support groups still meeting contact them directly for holiday times See you all in 2017!!!

12.01.2022 After quite a while in planning we have now achieved our objective in having a digital display listing daily events and user groups, in the the coming weeks it will become interactive the the public being able to find user groups and what rooms look like. 12.01.2022 Our Website is currently getting a new look. We have a volunteer who is helping us design this new website. To all our user groups you'll have or will receive an email or be handed information on what we need for this new website (If not please see our staff). Can we please have all information and photos either handed or emailed back in by the end of September for a term 4 launch. (Thank you to those that have already handed information back in). We have received a couple of screen shots of what it is currently looking like.
