24.01.2022 What is the hardest part of your house to keep clean? For me, it's definitely the floor! We live on acreage and often leave the front door open all day - add in 2 dogs , a cat and 2 kids it's definitely the dirtiest part of our house!! Especially with these winds blowing dirt in all day - you think I would wise up and close the front door

23.01.2022 Red has had a tough life. Weve had him for 8 years and in that time hes had a nearly fatal brown snake bite, a hospitalisation for a bladder issue, and a nearly fatal paralysis tick. Hes a tough guy! And hes definitely a part of our family We understand how much your pets mean to you. Thats why we are a pet-friendly cleaning company and only clean with pet-friendly products. We even bathe our pets in Neolifes LDC. The dogs love it, but Red not so much Hes not a huge fan of water, typical cat

20.01.2022 My daughter absolutely loved coming home to her room today. She was so excited about the way her soft toys and blankets were placed.Thank you Jay and Sonam for a wonderful house clean

20.01.2022 Keeping our family organised is really hard sometimes. I dont fancy myself a Pinterest mum, but I did have a go at making a chalkboard wall calendar I saw on Pinterest and (with a lot of help from Chris ) I think it turned out pretty good! It has definitely helped us stay on top of things and remember all of those important events and dates I feel like Ive usually got 50 different things in my head and I worry I will forget something Family life can get pretty crazy sometimes. Whats your favourite hack for keeping everything running smoothly?

20.01.2022 My kitchen diffusing station Helping me spread calm through the house during a very crazy week!

15.01.2022 Are you green cleaning products really safe? One of the things I love about Neolifes Light Duty Cleaner (LDC) is that its completely safe to use on your body. We use it as bubble bath, to wash hands, to wash dishes, to wash clothes, and even to wash our dogs! So when it comes to cleaning, I know that if my 3 year old decides to eat directly off the counter or lick the floor (apparently that seemed like a good idea to her....) I dont have to worry about whats in the products I used to clean them because I know they are safe

15.01.2022 This was my weekend!

13.01.2022 Really enjoying the change of season and all the activity in the garden. The wild bees are taking full advantage of the olive flowers. Anyone else putting out water for our little pollinators in this hot weather?

12.01.2022 So true. That pile of laundry on the bed is always there for me. The only plus to doing the laundry this week has been that I found a bunch of left socks in the corners of the fitted sheets! So thats where they go. Mystery solved! I was convinced the washing machine had eaten them. Whats the most interesting thing youve ever found hiding in your washing?

08.01.2022 We sadly lost one of our girls this week. Nothing sinister this time as Mr Fox was nowhere to be seen. Circle of life I suppose, but sad nonetheless. Our girls arent laying at the moment either and we have actually had to buy eggs! I think its because of the cold weather, but not sure. Anyone else with backyard chickens out there?

02.01.2022 These guys. Having fun at their overnight vet visit getting cuddles and bandanas. Last Sunday night one of them threw up a snake. In entirety. Didnt even chew We rushed them both + the snake to the vet at 9pm. It turned out to be a small eyed snake, a venomous relative of the red belly black We didnt know which one ate it so they had an overnight sleepover for evaluation. Both were fine thankfully! The vet sent us this pick of them partying at midnight after their blood tests So happy they are both ok Thank you to Animal Referral Hospital Brisbane, Summer and Billie had a great time hanging out with you!! Living on acreage is never dull!!

02.01.2022 Did anyone else think it was warmer this week? The weather report says our warm winter weather is coming to an end, but in honour of BBQ weather, we thought wed share a hack for cleaning your BBQ without the toxic and smelly chemicals! In fact, you can do it with something you probably already have in your kitchen - an onion. Heres how: Heat your grill up super hot to remove any baked on food or grime. If your grill is very dirty, spray it with some lemon juice or whi...te vinegar once it warms up - the acid will help with the cleaning process. Turn your grill off. Grab your onion, peel it, and cut it in half. Place the onion on the end of a BBQ fork (or alternatively use BBQ tongs) and scrub the grill with the cut side down. You might need to put some muscle into it. Scrub until clean. Use the other half of the onion if necessary. Bonus tip: if youre using charcoal, toss the onion into the charcoal when youre done for some extra flavour See more

02.01.2022 Lets ditch the chemicals.

01.01.2022 I dont usually post pictures of myself, but I wanted to share something Ive been up to this year. Cutting my hair obviously! But let me explain. This year Ive really made a concerted effort to detoxify our home and the products our family uses. This included the products in my non-existent hair and beauty routine and one of the first things I did was stop colouring my hair. I literally hadnt seen my natural hair colour in 22 years! So surprise, Im not naturally blonde... Youre probably not surprised. In any case, I cut it all off and Im growing it back naturally, grays and all. I honestly felt like I was looking at a stranger in the mirror for a while, but Ive grown used to it and I think it suits me Ive switched to natural hair products, Im really liking Sukin Australian Natural Skincare products at the moment, esp the shampoo. I want to thank Headquarterz Hair for the awesome pixie cut. I love this sustainable salon and they always do an amazing job! They are helping me grow it out gracefully Or should I keep it short? What do you think? See more
