02.01.2022 My most emotionally challanging but with out a doubt the most personally satisfying job I ever have had, was working in the Rehab Ward at Cairns Hospital. I spent 5 years working mainly with stroke and amputee patients. Working with the amazing caring Occupational Theripists and and Nurses learning every day was increadable. Strokes are something that can happen at any time and to any of us, I personally find it a very distressing. For the person affected and the families it... can be a living nightmare.
