The period between Christmas and the New Year is too short to worry about! It is more important to focus on the longer period! . ... And remember food is much more than just fuel!... . So, some people find that tracking for a short period can actually help them.... . However, tracking isn’t for everyone (Hey that’s me ). Sometimes, tracking calories may lead to obsession and restrictions which may lead to disordered eating/ eating disorder. . For example, If you find yourself tracking every single meal/ingredients, avoiding eating out and enjoying a meal with a friend, and stressing out when you can’t track a meal, it could be (and very likely) that tracking is starting to affect your social life and mental health. . So whatever you do, just remember to - Take it easy and listen to your body because our body is SMARTER than any calorie tracking apps. ... And nutrition is very personalised.
