21.01.2022 I am in LOVE with this Shayd D Combo rug and flymask set! This fly sheet has really withstood the test of Elvira! For those of you who don't know, Elvira is hig...hly allergic to flies and the majority of fly sprays and Swat. She is intelligent and athletic so once fly season starts she is in high gear scratching, rubbing, and climbing in water tanks. Last year I ended up roaching her mane due to the damage done despite wearing a different brand fly sheet. Well, this sheet has been a skin, hair, and coat saver! Heavy duty enough to handle the few times Elvira has rubbed this sheet gave her skin enough time to heal so that she is no longer rubbing. Further, her black coat is protected from bleaching in the sun so she will be show ready come the Fall. Elvira lives out with two other mares and her weanling nephew, Churro. This sheet has withstood normal mare herd dynamics and the playful antics of baby Churro. 10.01.2022 Weekend position available: EBL is looking for a new team member to work weekends at our ever expanding facility located in the Hunter Valley, NSW. An immediat...e start is required. This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself into one of the country’s most successful show and dressage stables. This is a newly created position to assist in the care and wellbeing of our sensational line up of competition and breeding horses. General horse experience is a must. But we are happy to guide you through the finer points of the general day to day running of EBL and horse management. The successful applicant must have their own transport, be reliable and have a generally soft, happy approach to the horses, be able to work in a team and also unsupervised, be enthusiastic, have a good sense of humour, be honest and prepared to work hard to help the team as a whole. Duties will include, but are not limited to, general horse care, feeding and mucking out stables, tacking up horses, working with export horses, assisting with training and preparing show horses. This is a great opportunity to learn the highest standard of horse care and management. A generous salary package and a positive team environment make this a unique experience to learn from one of the best show horse producers in the country.
