24.01.2022 This time last year I ran the first Truffle Hunt and Tasting Tour and 3 food tours in 32 hours. It was a day of truffles galore and it was amazing! Foodies from Sydney, Singapore and Canberra attended the tour and I was SO excited to run more of the truffle tours this year. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, this wasn't possible. Our food tours haven't yet returned to our normal availability because I'm still navigating through these uncertain times. I don't think the time is ...right to start running public tours again and it saddens me to make that decision. But for multiple reasons, I think it's best for our community and our food and beverage partners. However please continue to reach out and send enquiries to [email protected] because private tours could still be possible. We miss connecting all of you foodies with Canberra's incredible food and beverage scene offline and I can't wait to return to business as usual. Until then, I'll continue to produce online food and beverage content over at Eat Canberra. Thank you SO SO much for your support so far and I look forward to Eat Canberra Food Tours returning bigger and better than ever! 20.01.2022 Hi foodies! My name is Amelia (this photo is from warmer and sunnier times) and I'm the Founder and Managing Director of Eat Canberra Food Tours. I actually run 4 businesses including Eat Canberra, Socialite Digital and an Airbnb. Like many small business owners, I don't have any investors and I run my businesses alone. I do have some help from my amazing casual food tour guides and the occasional incredible contributor. Like all of us, my businesses have been impacted by COV...ID-19. Following the most recent announcement about the closure of cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs, I regret to inform you that Eat Canberra Food Tours will be postponed until the foreseeable future. I will be in contact with anyone who has booked tours over the coming months in hope that you will accept a credit voucher to be used in the future. I apologies if I haven't yet responded to your email or been in contact, it has been a crazy few weeks dealing with the ripple effects of COVID-19. I'll get back to you ASAP! This month is Eat Canberra Food Tours 3rd birthday! Who would have thought this little idea I had would have grown in to what it is today I started Eat Canberra and Eat Canberra Food Tours with the goal to showcase and support the amazing food and beverage businesses in Canberra and the region. I will continue to support and showcase businesses however I can during these tough times. We have taken more than 1,500 people on food tours in Canberra since Eat Canberra Food Tours first launched, supporting other businesses by doing so. Remember that many cafes and restaurants are still offering takeaway and delivery services so please support them if you can. I'll be sharing some information when I can to help you stay informed and connected with the hospitality world in Canberra and the surrounding regions. I want to thank each and every one one of you who has supported us so far and I'm confident that Eat Canberra Food Tours will return BIGGER and BETTER than ever to give you more incredible food and beverage experiences in Canberra and the region! I rarely ask anyone for help but if you want to help me now, all that I ask is to please share our posts, encourage people to like the Facebook page to help promote Eat Canberra Food Tours and if you can, book a food tour or buy a gift voucher when we're up and running again. Please support small local businesses if you can, be kind to each other and yourself, stay safe and be healthy. Sending positive vibes your way <3 Amelia xoxo

02.01.2022 Have you spotted our little Eat Canberra X Eat Canberra Food Tours Smart Fortwo car zipping around Canberra? It's very subtly branded (for now ) but it's definitely unique and turns heads I had lunch with Shane from Dave's Brewery Tours earlier this week and I had to laugh and snap this photo when I parked beside his tour bus.
