I don't mean the steam in the air, but the trickle of it forming just below the hot liquid surface that I was able to see because it's black tea, without milk. PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 180C 1/3 cup milk 1 cup mashed sweet potato (any type)... 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil (light taste) 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 tsp salt MIX UNTIL WELL COMBINED 1/3 cup wholemeal flour 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1 tsp baking powder MIX UNTIL WELL COMBINED MIX THE DRY AND WET MIXTURES TOGETHER PLACE IT IN AN ENGLISH CAKE BAKING PAN BAKE IT FOR 30 MINUTES Note: I cooked the potato in the microwave, skin on, no water, covered, for about 5mins. Creamed it with olive oil using a stick mixer. Then, combined all ingredients. 03.01.2022 One of my gigs is casual cooking at childcare centres and, everytime I have the chance, I'll serve a dressing made with extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), crushed garlic and herbs for the children to drizzle on their vegetables which will be served at times raw and at times cooked (steamed or roasted). Many children go for it and enjoy it, some will try it and find out they are not yet ready for it, but, definitely all adults love it! It shows that our palate needs time and oppor...tunity to learn to enjoy certain foods, to grow into them. With a large and wide body of evidence showing the benefits of consuming olive oil, particularly extra virgin oilve oil, we must give children the chance to get familiar with its characteristics and learn to like it. It is not guaranteed they will never get sick, but scientific studies done in so many countries, in different settings and with a variety of ethnicities show a significant reduction in risk of developing certain types of cancer, heart disease, dementia and other health problems by consuming olive oil daily. At home and at work, I only cook with olive oil. Frying, roasting, baking, dressing. I normally have two qualities that you can easily find at the supermarket: one of a light taste for cooking and one of a richer taste for serving raw (salad, sandwiches etc). I'd like to encourage you to give olive oil a go, if you're not yet using it regularly, and serve it often to children.
