25.01.2022 What a pressie - an Indulge Lotion and Hand & Body Wash in a FREE Gift Box. Smells absolutely beautiful. DM me if you would like one in time for Christmas. Oh what a lead up to Christmas it has been. Am I allowed to say I have the worlds softest hands due to a massive amount of blending. Only 8 days till I get my license back. It has been a very long 6 months but made easier by all the kind people in Newstead who have driven me around. On the same day I get settlement on Hone...y Pot Cottage - the worlds smallest house. I have already locked in the concreter to do the floor in my new Oily Shed. Hopefully as I am now in charge of my life I won’t move again for a good while. I still have a tummy ache which everyone tells me time will heal. Everyone should be supporting small and local especially after the dreaded Covid. My two nieces in England have recently been tested as positive but I am assured they are okay. We certainly are the lucky country. 24.01.2022 Adore is a beautiful blend of Pure Essential Oils. I Adore Stonefields which is the incredible garden and beautiful home of @paulbangay I am hopeless I have all his books at home and sell them in my shop @eau_perfumery and they run out of the door. Some say his gardens are incredibly formal but I take ideas and run with them. I have notebooks full of torn out bits of magazines and post it notes in my coffee coffee table books which make me wish desperately but I do giggle a...t the houses that appear so immaculate and lifeless. I wish I My new house which is only 83 days away needs a full face lift inside and out. Whenever I get a black thought I dive headfirst into the ridiculous collection of magazines which just grows and grows. My ideas have to work around my furniture and rarely do I ever paint a wall a different colour than either Chalk USA or Antique White both from @duluxdecoratorcentre Am I getting old, I find my colour from paintings just check out @carolynehallumsart for some beauty. Now for my question of the day as I always name my houses and I can’t work out which one so please help - The Mouse House or Honey Pot Cottage? I will listen so add your thoughts please. I have finally reached the point of needing a pouring machine. I am hopeless at doing homework so if it within my price bracket and it says it does the job, then whom am I to argue. 16.01.2022 My bathroom is full of Cherubs. As always if there is a surface I place something on it. Calm is a stunning blend of Lavender, Petitgrain, Chamomile, Sweet Orange and Sandalwood. I am now counting down till I get my license back 17th December, the same day I settle on my new home. I have the house I am currently in on the market and it’s very stressful to keep it immaculate for open for inspections. My agent has told me that people are buying from videos - could you buy a h...ouse like this? The market has gone crazy up here with Melbournians wanting to live in the country and if necessary commute by train to the city. They say that selling and moving is stressful and you add a relationship breakdown with no license and I have to be seriously careful of my mental health. My diary is my best friend and is full of my thoughts, fears and hopes. So much happens daily and as we get closer to the lockdown being lifted I am busting to get to the Mornington Peninsula to see my Dad and my girlfriends. I hope if you are planning a get away to visit where I am you will be flat out seeing everything from Castlemaine, Daylesford, Kyneton, Maldon and of course Newstead with me at weekends in @eau_perfumery it really is a gorgeous get away. With squillions of Airbnb to choose from this part of regional Victoria is a must to visit. I had to sell @the_church_newstead but it is still a gorgeous place to stay and I sold it with all the furniture so I know it is beautiful. Snuggle down this weekend as I gather it is going to be so cold with thunderstorms and hail in some places. Thinking of everyone still in lockdown - be strong not long to go now. 14.01.2022 The most wonderful exhibition @mitcheltongallery which shows these wonderful desert dogs. The metal templates are cut in by inmates in a the Alice Springs prison and then sent out to the Warlukanangu to be individually painted - no two dogs are the same. If you are looking to own a dog or you need an incredible work of Aboriginal Art work then I can’t recommend this space more highly. I was so spoilt and was gifted a two night stay @mitcheltonwines This hotel is 5 minutes f...rom Nagambie and knows exactly how to spoil each guest. The grounds are just beautiful and a wine tasting is a must. Take an hour to enjoy a massage in the stunning spa. Yes I more than endorse this get away in Regional Victoria. So pack your bags when lockdown is over. You won’t regret a minute of your stay. You must remember to pat yourself dry your skin absorbs it. So funny that those of you who advised me which name to call my new cottage it’s now called Honey Pot Cottage. I can’t recommend @mondellabathroom more highly and I used them in the house on the Mornington Peninsula and I am desperate to start the new bathroom and kitchen. I showed a gir...lfriend the cottage on the Internet and she said I had to slow down and do it bit by bit and then I took her to see it and she finally saw that the Real Estate photos were photoshopped like no tomorrow. Suddenly the word uninhabitable was flying around. As I make some money I will be buying bits and pieces and store them in my container. I have 80 something days left and I have to declutter again to sell the beautiful home I am living in now. 11.01.2022 My home but always with an EAU Product to hand. Busy weekend in @eau_perfumery with lots of gorgeous new bits and pieces. Thrilled that I sold a beautiful work from @selina_wilson_art I have to juggle a couple of large orders with decluttering of the house. My definition of declutter is to hide all my goodies in my container. Thankful the days are lighter longer as I can weed outside and high pressure hose the tiles. It has been so cold so I have been delaying all outdoor jo...bs. So much to do and still taking tiny steps and avoiding anything or anyone which are toxic - doctors advice!! Not sure we all need a doctor to tell us this but I have been known to try and please everyone and it’s exhausting and terribly hurtful when you don’t get it back. It reminds me of junior school when you just couldn’t be in everyone’s gang! Dan the man didn’t give us all what we were hoping for today but I have everything crossed that I can see my Dad on or a little after the 16th of October. I just don’t want a third lockdown. I have so much admiration and love for all those teeny boppers studying for VCE - go guys just do your best. Your Year 12 will go down in history as the hardest year ever. I think you are truly amazing. I hope that the examinations take into account all the challenges that have been faced. Lucky I don’t mark exams as I would give everyone an A+ for just coming out the other side. 04.01.2022 Double trouble - just a beautiful pressie and delivered in a stunning box. Message me with any questions. Where have I been? Flat out learning how to use my new pouring machine. It weighed a tonne on arrival but it is a dream come true. Last week I googled what I had to do to get my licence back on 17th December - I used the question using the word suspended and it told me I had to go to my nearest Magistrate Office so a gorgeous girl friend drove me to Bendigo. I took every... form of ID under the sun to be told no I needed to go to Vic Roads. I waited 55 minutes to then be told no I would get my license in the post and could start driving on 18th December. I questioned the lady and she assured me this was the process. What a waste of a day. So it’s one month till I start doing circle work, it has been the longest 6 months of my life. It is a year this week that I moved up here to Newstead and it has been one of the most emotional roller coaster years I have ever experienced. I am about to move house again, I lost my partner to another, I opened a shop and I have made a whole new group of friends who have made sure I can get where I need to be and check up on me regularly especially with my history of mental illness. I have to take one day at a time and try to not think of the past and what I had. I have to remember for Gods sake Sam it was just a man. I think the pain comes from trust being lost. I can’t help but blame myself for taking the love I had for granted. My mind can be very cruel to me which gives me the most awful tummy ache. If you have ever gone through a hideous break up, I feel for you enormously and get everything you are going through or have been through. So while love remains elusive I just work hard and squeeze my dogs and place one foot in front of another.
