20.01.2022 Yesterday we took a few hours off to have a quick drive up to Kalbarri to do some mat deliveries & check out the new Skywalk. Sadly we didn’t make the Skywalk as Miss E was getn her butt kicked by Cyanotic breath holding spells which were the worst we’ve seen all year. It was such hard work for her just to do her deliveries yet once again she made me so proud with her determination to just soldier on. To imagine what this is like for her try this : hold your breath for ...30 seconds, then expel your held breath out rapidly.! ..... Now without taking another breath in , hold your breath again for 30 seconds , then repeat this over & over! This symptom results in severe fatigue on the body, headaches, limb twitches , dizziness & stomach bloating from the trapped air. As U can see in the photos above she was missing her trademark smile ALL day & you know she’s feeling shite when her favourite food comes out and she looks at you like & how am I going to get that down, like this - with purple shaded lips ... Weve ended up with no support worker today, so she’s had an extra big sleep in & is now making a slow but steady start on the next lot of mats for the day .. once again she never gives up trying, even tho she can only give a lil - she’s my lil hero! So it’s days like this that slow us down In the production line, but we have managed to now pump out 55 mats in just 4 weeks so we just want to Thankyou for all for your patience upon your orders - you are all truly appreciated in every way with every order you make Blessings to you all Alli & Miss E

10.01.2022 The mini boss at work! For those of you that don’t know Miss Ebony I thought I’d post this lil video of her at work painting your custom door mats & some background information about her. Ebony is 19 & was born with a neurological condition called Rett Syndrome. It is a condition which affects every aspect of her every day living, yet she is a very happy & positive girl who has learnt to live with her symptoms & make the most of every day. Miss E is nonverbal & has ver...y limited usage of her hands due to uncontrollable hand spasms but with a special strap we are able to connect objects to her hand like the paintbrush so she can still complete tasks required. Although she is very quiet, underneath the whole picture of Rett Syndrome, she is a very bright & sassy young lady who loves to travel, listen to music, swimming & long baths, meditation & quiet time, walking on her treadmill, going for long drives, chips, snuggles & being around her loved ones. She also attends tafe a few days a week with her other special needs friends accompanied with a support worker. Having created this lil art venture is quite challenging yet extremely fulfilling for her, whilst also providing her a with a purpose in the world every day. It’s so exciting for her that her order list is growing by the day, which we both have much gratitude & love to each & everyone of you for your support. We are so close to receiving 100 orders now to date & we both also hugely appreciate your awareness that in placing an order that there is also a small time delay in getting out your doormat, as it requires a teamwork effort from us both to complete the whole production ..
