24.01.2022 Hi church! We are so fortunate to be able to gather in-person again. With the change to 2sqm capacity we won't need to collect RSVPs. We have enough room for now, so all are welcome! For the time-being, we will continue without congregational singing and we encourage all adults to bring a mask. Our church service will start at 9:30am as per usual with prayer, songs, the sermon and announcements. Our service usually ends around 11am. Ater the service, we just need to keep soci...al-distancing in mind, so we encourage people to make their way out of the building in a timely manner. We're excited (kids and parents!) to have Way2Go back in-person. With the 2sqm restrictions, kids are able to join their families for the start of service and will be prompted to adjourn to Way2Go mid-way through the service. We're also blessed by the team that is allowing us to connect online through ZOOM. The link has stayed the same https://zoom.us/j/3161461334 - you'll just need to drop us a line for the password. For those online, we encourage you to use the chat feature to connect with the others joining online and encourage them too! Looking forward to seeing you in-person or online on Sunday as we hear from Phillipians 1:1-11 from Rev. Dennis Nutt. In Christ, ECC
19.01.2022 Last week Kel preached from Ephesians 4, encouraging us in our commitment to our function as part of the church body. He challenged us in our individual roles in spiritual leadership - to be shepherds, to be models and to be servants. From v14 - "So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Over the next two Sundays, Kel will return to the start of Ephesians, to challenge the vision we have for ourselves, living in Jesus.
16.01.2022 Hi church! This is just a reminder that church will not be meeting at the Centre for Ministry, but will be meeting online at the usual time of 9:30am on Sunday using our online meeting space for the forseeable future. All you need to do is click on this link: https://zoom.us/j/3161461334... (You can also go to our Facebook Page and click the button on the top-right "Use app"!) Our church service will run as per usual with prayer, songs, the sermon and announcements. Way2Go will run in a separate Zoom, there is further information at the end about this for parents. We've gathered a few tips and notes just to help things run a bit smoother on Sunday. Check them out in the graphics :) For parents with Pre-school to Primary school kids, Way2Go will spin up another Zoom meeting during sermon time: - You'll need to set up a separate device that is Zoom ready (Tip: Perhaps a separate room!) - Click on this link: https://amaysim.zoom.us/my/perry.tsang - Way2Go will start as the sermon begins (around 10am) Looking forward to seeing everyone online on Sunday! In Christ, ECC Board
