25.01.2022 Hello Echoes Families, I hope everyone enjoyed the Easter long wknd with Families and away from work (if you were lucky enough, unlike me) So we have nominated a huge 15 junior teams for this Winter season, so thankyou all for signing up your ballers to play for Echoes. We have nearly 2 teams in each age/gender group apart from a few, so that is awesome.... We are still a few Coach's short though, so if you are interested, please contact us and let's see what we can do. Mainly the U16 boys age bracket we are looking for, so we will be on the hunt. Also we could really do with 2-3 more girls for the U12girls age group to create a 3rd U12girls team with solid numbers. (Born 2011/2010) Also in the U10girls age group, to add a few more to each team incase players are sick etc (born 2013/2012) so if you know of anyone, please get them to email [email protected] and we can send out the registration link. Remember $100 sports vouchers are able to be used (if you havnt already used it this year) so that helps out ALOT. CHEERS SIMMO

The tournament calendar for 2021 now looks a little like this;... 19.01.2022 Keep the registrations coming people, numbers are looking good for winter comp. Don't leave it until last minute to register your child , otherwise it puts extra pressure on us who have to select teams. We are on the low side in the U14 & U16 girls age groups though, so if you have a daughter that would be in these age groups U14s - born 2008/2009... 18.01.2022 Hey Echoes Families, Just a quick post to let everyone know that trainings are back on tonight as normal as are games for the next 2 weeks. Please all parents when arriving at the REX sign in using the QR scanner, or manually sign in at the front desk. Please lets follow the social distancing rules while courtside and please only 1 parent per child(unless ABSOLUTELY no other option for young children)... For games, please NOBODY is to step onto the court or walk across the court from arrival to departure of your childs game(unless your child is injured or upset & with the ref's permission ) Parent collecting money, is allowed to walk OUTSIDE of white line and around to deliver teams reciept to scorebench if playing on court 1. Hope all players have a great last 2 weeks b4 holidays. SIMMO

16.01.2022 Thats a wrap on Summer season 20/21. Congratulations to our 4 teams that won the G.F today and commiserations to our 2 teams that made the day but unfortunately fell just short, its a great effort to even get to a G.F. Im really sorry I wasn't present today, but this old boy turned 40 today so spent it with my family, so thankyou to our V.P Ian Blatchford for representing Echoes today. Don't forget about our club presentations tomorrow night at the REX @5:30pm on court 1.... Coach's will be asked to make a little speech when presenting their team trophies. 10.01.2022 What an absolute crazy 1st 1/2 of the season. Thankyou to all of our coaches, players & parents for everything you do to get the kids on the court and make our club what it is. A HUGE thankyou to the rest of our committee for the endless hours behind the scenes that you all put in getting everything to happen, I truly appreciate everything you have all done, were a well oiled machine atm.... I would like to wish EVERYONE in the Echoes Basketball Club a very Merry XMAS and enjoy the time with your families and the break away from everything. Hopefully 2021 is a hell of alot more normal than 2020 has been. Enjoy and I will see everyone back early next year. SIMMO

10.01.2022 As a club, we are extremely proud of all our players and are very grateful for our wonderful coaches. We were represented to a very high standard today at the Grand Final and also Friday night for the Under 10s Finale games. Four of the six teams took out the win today and the other two teams can hold their heads high, only going down by 10 points or less. Congratulations to:... 06.01.2022 ###SPORTS VOUCHER REFUNDS### Alot of people have been asking about the sports voucher refunds due to them. I assure you they are coming very shortly as long as everyone has given their bank details to the club email address. Our Treasurer Angela has been working overtime (along with her PAID job) to set up the whole process and collect and chase people for details, it has now been lodged and we are just waiting for it to be finalised by sports voucher themselves to refund us ...the money owed, so we can then refund families. 04.01.2022 U14 GIRLS COMP Changes are currently being made to the U14 girls comp by the BVABA. The fixture's and ladder have been temporarily removed from all public viewing and no ladder will be released until the association has agreed on a few things. Incase you were trying to look for it. 03.01.2022 It was really good to see the kids back on the courts tonight. 1st 3 games of the night Echoes got the wins so hopefully this continues up until the Xmas break. Thankyou to everyone for following the new restrictions set as of tonight, and please continue to do so. And goodluck to all teams for remainder of season, let's hope there's no more speed humps along the way.

01.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS to all of our teams so far(still have our 2X U12boys Div 2 teams to play tonight) who have made the finals for this season, 14 teams made the finals. So far the teams who have made it through to Sundays G.F are:- U12 boys Div 1 team (10am crt 2) U12 girls Div 1 team (10am crt 1)...
