Take a look at the ‘about’ page on your website does this capture your brand’s essence? Reading it should give you a renewed sense of purpose. If you’re realising now that it’s perfunctory rather than emotionally-driven; if it’s dull rather than energising; and if it could be about any other business in your industry, rather than differentiat...ing and elevating yours as the preferred choice for your clients, ok... Take a minute to ask yourself: What are we trying to change? Who for? Why? Jot down the answers. Stick them on your computer screen and share them with your team. Read and remind yourself of that purpose throughout the week and I suggest you’ll have more clarity, focus and energy to not just stay in business but to build your brand as well. Oh, and book some time with a copywriter to update your website. What people say about your brand is infinitely more influential than anything you could ever say yourself.
