23.01.2022 Crews from Echuca CFA and FFMV were again called to an unattended campfire this morning in the bush near Echuca. Whilst fire restrictions are due to come off at 1am on the 29th March 2021 in Campaspe shire, these action are still not on. 21.01.2022 Good Friday collectors are out and about around Echuca and surrounding areas. Keep an eye and ear out for our members and please give generously.

20.01.2022 Tomorrow 27th December is a Total Fire Ban. If you’re camping along the river please make sure that you fully extinguish any camp fires with water before midnight tonight. We don’t want our volunteers called out tomorrow because of carelessness.

17.01.2022 Recently members from the Echuca CFA and other brigades from CFA District 20 participated in aircraft communications training. This training will improve the way crews on the ground communication with aircraft to ensure when water drops are made they have maximum effect. The pilots can also provide valuable intelligence to ground crews. The CFA provides high-quality training to its members to ensure they are ready for all types of fires and incidents they may be called on to ...attend. 15.01.2022 Preparations for tomorrow’s Good Friday Appeal are in full swing, with CFA members from Echuca, Echuca Village Fire Brigade and Bamawm Extension Fire Brigade being joined by members from VIC SES Echuca Unit and Echuca Moama Search & Rescue Squad gearing up to make the 90th annual Appeal the most successful ever. We missed out on pounding the pavement last year due to the Coronavirus so our members are super keen to be part of this year’s event. 02.01.2022 Thanks to everyone in Echuca for their generous donations today. Together we raised $23,191 for the Good Friday Appeal supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital. We have such a wonderful team of volunteer emergency services in Echuca and awesome families who support them.
