24.01.2022 ECC pleased to announce that Connor Shannon has re-committed for season 20/21. A keen batsman and wicket keeper, Connor’s highlights include playing in an under 16 grand final and winning the B grade batting aggregate. ... ECC have developed me, and provided me with opportunities. The club is well run, everyone is willing to help out, and the environment is welcoming and inclusive.

23.01.2022 ATTENTION ALL SENIOR ECC PLAYERS: ECC has lots of information regarding return to training and playing. The only place you will find out current guidelines and training details is via Echuca Cricket Club Team App. Simply download Team App from your App Store, register and select Echuca Cricket Club P.S. Download and register now, as we are looking to commence training very soon. If you don’t have Team App, you won’t have access to information regarding training.

22.01.2022 **NEW PLAYER ALERT!** ECC Welcomes Stuart Thomson! Stuart is no stranger to the area, playing all of his junior cricket in Kyabram, before heading to the big smoke to play for Keilor Park. Stuart was eventually lured back to the country playing for Cobram Yarroweyah Utd most recently. A keen batsman and keeper, Stuart is keen to resume playing cricket, and has obviously made a great choice with ECC!!

22.01.2022 A BIG congratulations to our Women's B Grade team who won their very first Grand Final today against Kyabram at Vic Park. This awesome group of women, both young and old(er) have improved greatly over the season under the guidance of coaches Gary Norman and Jon Varcoe. Jilly Jones, although one of the smallest on the team, stood tall with the ball to take 3 for 6 off 2 overs. Not to be overshadowed, smallest player, Chloe Moyle was on a hat-trick after her first 2 balls of ...her first over, finishing with 2 for 9 off 2 overs. Well done to top scorers, Zoe Dannett (13 off 11 balls) and Pauline Sleeman (12 off 12 balls). Thank you to the senior women of the B Grade team for encouraging and mentoring the younger players throughout the season; you lead by example and will hopefully inspire this next generation of cricketers to continue to play this beautiful game. Well done to all, you have done our Club proud.

21.01.2022 ECC welcomes Tim Wood for season 2020/21. Tim played his junior cricket with Bruck CC in the Wangaratta & District Cricket Association. A top order batsman (and very occasional bowler!), Tim has played 10 years of A Grade cricket in the BDCA with Strathfieldsaye and Golden Square. He was 1st XI captain at Golden Square 2013/14 - 2016/17. Handy with the bat, he made 658 runs @ 47.00 in his last season played. Career highlights for Tim include an A grade premiership with Bruc...k CC in 2002/03, and winning a provincial Melbourne Country Week with Bendigo. "I'm excited to get back into playing after a season off. The club has some passionate and hard working people in charge and I'm keen to get on board and do my bit. Welcome Tim!

18.01.2022 Dear valued Members and Visitors, Although Dan has lifted restrictions, we have made the decision not to open at this time. Unfortunately the updated restrictio...ns, commencing Thursday 17th September, does not make it viable for us to open the doors. We are disappointed that we won’t be able to welcome you back just yet, and we're hoping you understand that we had to do our due diligence and consider the financial repercussions. Our fingers are crossed that this will be short term and we can get back to doing what we do best - serving you, at your local Community Club

09.01.2022 We are pleased to announce that Nick Dolan has recommitted to ECC for season 2020/21. A handy batsman and leg spinner, Nick’s early cricket influencers were the great Brian Lara, Shane Warne and more recently Aaron Finch. When asked about what advice he would give young cricketers, it was pretty simple; Enjoy your cricket, and seek to improve in all aspects of the game. We look forward to seeing Nick around the club, and catching up after the game with a cold beer!

08.01.2022 ECC is pleased to announce that Ben Fulford has recommitted for season 2020/21. Coming into his third season at the club, Ben has proved to be just as handy with the bat as he is with the gloves. A highlight for Ben was scoring an impressive 105 vs Kyabram Fire Brigade in round three of last season. Citing Brad Haddin as an influence, Ben continues to work hard on his game, whilst imparting his wisdom to our junior players. A great culture is one the best things about ECC.
