23.01.2022 **ABSOLUTE** We designed Absolute to be wheelchair or walker 'friendly'. We are not saying she is compliant but we designed the boat so that guests that may have limited mobility can see that they are still able to enjoy houseboating - and perhaps even a spa. Absolute has one bedroom downstairs with large doorways and the ensuite bathroom is very roomy, has no steps into the shower and could easily fit a chair in the shower. ... Absolute's open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area make it very easy to maneuver around and to top it off the 10 person spa is also on the bottom level of the houseboat making it accessible to everyone. From huge solar systems, massive battery banks and eye watering appliances that could not have been contemplated on board as little as a decade ago. For instance the Australian owned and made Selectronic inverters that take battery power convert it to 240 volt electricity and run all of the appliances on board seamlessly. 10.01.2022 Happy New Year from the Echuca Luxury Houseboats Team Great news!!! We have received notification that the latest Victorian public health direction includes a section/ wording that allows Victorians to use the watercourse of the Murray River. The directions order states that a person may leave Victoria to travel along the Murray River so long as you do not set foot on the banks of the Murray River on the New South Wales side of the Murray River.

10.01.2022 **REGIONAL VICTORIANS ARE ALLOWED ON THE MURRAY RIVER** It's official (we have the NSW Government Gazette) regional Victorians are allowed to use the Murray River watercourse. Please call, message or email us if you are interested in a houseboat holiday.

05.01.2022 You know its not just us that think we are pretty good. Here is some feedback from some customers who recently stayed on Envy. Hi Andrew and Jacinta On behalf of all of us that hired the Envy we would like to thank you both very much for a wonderful holiday. We all enjoyed our stay immensely and wouldn't hesitate to do it all again if possible. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well which made life easy as well.... The Envy is a great design and on many occasions we found ourselves commenting on how we had 11 people on board but at no time did it feel at all crowded! In fact one of our friends said she spent an hour or so in the main living area and not once did she actually see anyone! How good is that! All the best guys and thank you so much. 02.01.2022 We have a new crew member..... Mumma Duck. She has decided to move in and make the front of one of our work boats home. She loves cruising down the Murray River.... We will keep you updated on her progress.

01.01.2022 The NSW Premier announced in her press conference yesterday that 'whatever you can do in regional Victoria you can do in those [border] communities.' We took what the Premier said to be true however it appears that, from what we have seen on the NSW Government website this morning, what the Premier stated yesterday is not actually true. It appears that regional Victorians that live outside of the border zone can not use the Murray River or cross the Murray River into NSW.... This news is devastating to us and impacts all of the commercial operators on the river as well as the accommodation and tourism businesses in and around our southern NSW region. NSW has 148 active cases, regional Victoria has 42 active cases (with 20 of those cases in Colac). In the last 14 days ending 8pm on the 15th September NSW had 63 new cases and 4 from unknown sources. Regional Victoria’s 14 day average to the 16th September 2020 is 3.5 and the unknown source number was zero thus allowing regional Victoria to move to the third step. With all this said we are dumbfounded as to why regional Victorians are not allowed to use the Murray River or cross the Murray River into NSW. It just does not make sense!! We are sorry to the people that we gave false hope to but we hope to be able to welcome you to our business soon. On the bright side regional Victorians can visit and stay in Echuca and we would encourage you to come and support our town and region.
