24.01.2022 NO INTERST LOANS.. We are still open to people seeking a No Interest Loan. For everyone's safety we will conduct phone interviews only. Please see the attached ...list of documents required to complete a NILS application. The list looks daunting, but it is only documents you already should have at home - or call your supplier or login to a service and have them emailed directly to us. Then call the House on 5482 6914 and allocate a phone interview time. NILS cannot be used for bills or rent payments but we can assist with electrical goods, white goods, rego, car repairs, technology... the list is huge so give us a call today. 24.01.2022 We are OPEN.... We have a variety of Blankets, Doona's, Sheet sets, Doona Covers, Baby Blankets, Sleeping Bags.... Everything you could need to keep warm on these cold evenings. A big Thank you to PEVENSEY Motel for their generous donation of woollen blankets (can't beat a woollen blanket in Winter) Also, you can grab a coat, beanie or scarf....
23.01.2022 Echuca Moama Community Projects is excited to announce a long awaited Blanket Drive starting June 1st. We have the generous support of SPOT ON DRY CLEANERS who are going to wash and package any blankets we receive to ensure that those needing them receive them in a hygienic and safe manner. This year the Blanket Drive will be available to those in need through the Echuca Neighbourhood House Monday thru to Thursday 10am to 2pm. If anyone has any unwanted blankets, doonas, shee...ts or sleeping bags please consider dropping them directly at the Echuca Neighbourhood House or if you don't want to venture out please phone me 0475 707 412. Unfortunately due to the lack of space this year we will not be able to accept coats, BUT we will be distributing Coats left over from last year. So please.... anyone who needs some extra Winter Warmth please come to ENH and wrap yourselves warmly in the generosity of your Community. See more
18.01.2022 Blanket Drive is OPEN. Heaps of Blankets, brand NEW sleeping bags, lovely donated NEW Mink blankets, hand knitted throws, beanies and scarves. Please come to Echuca Neighbourhood House and wrap yourself in the warmth given by your local neighbours.
17.01.2022 NO INTEREST LOANS AVAILABLE. This is Julie, our NILS manager. At Echuca Neighbourhood House we are still able to offer No Interest Loans to eligible communit...y members. During COVID-19, NILS appointments have been operating over the phone, however an in-person appointment can be arranged with Julie when required! Loans are available for essential goods and services, while the repayments for them are set at an affordable price over 12-18 months. This is an incredibly helpful service in these unpredictable times and could help you get on top of your financial stresses. 16.01.2022 It’s all hands on deck filling up our food is Free stand this afternoon... - chopped/diced tomatoes - eggs - salt, flour, sugar... - chopped onions - lemons - cos lettuce - snow pea shoots - eggplants - chopped pumpkin - peeled white potatoes, - bread rolls - toilet paper & more! Also have 2L bottles of skim milk, frozen chips, fresh cream, plus other items available from inside the House until 4.30pm.
15.01.2022 It's cold out there. Are you in need of that extra blanket to keep warm at night (and hopefully keep power costs down) or a throw for you legs while sitting ?? We have been so fortunate to have numerous Blankets, Doona's and Linen donated so you don't have to struggle with the cold. Available from Echuca Neighbourhood House Mondays thru to Thursday 10am to 2pm for ALL of JUNE and maybe longer... As a community please think of your neighbours that might still be isolating because COVID or cannot get out to get a blanket. Now is the time to rally and help others struggling with the cold. A huge thanks to Spot On Dry Cleaners who continue to wash all our woollen blankets and doona's....

11.01.2022 So... the 8th Echuca Moama Community Xmas Lunch has been thrown a lifeline by securing access to the Moama Sporting Complex on Christmas Day. This is provided COVID does not rear its ugly head and bring further restrictions. We are already making plans for it to go ahead and will be able to start taking bookings soon. Everyone will have to follow COVID safety measures and be able to obtain a border permit if they are still enforced. We can help anyone needing a pass. Stayed tuned and keep safe. EMCP Team

11.01.2022 Blanket Drive Last Day. Echuca Neighbourhood House between 10am and 2pm. We have Woollen Blankets, a few Doonas, bed covers, sheet sets, scarves and beanies - all generously donated by your neighbours. Blankets and Doonas washed by the wonderful team at Spot On Drycleaners. Thank you to everyone that donated items, the volunteers at ENH, Oliver and friends for doing letter box of phamplets and the Riv for promoting this project.
10.01.2022 Our Blanket Drive has kicked off. It’s going to be zero degrees tomorrow night so please don’t go cold. We have again been so generously suppported by our community and have the following to give away for anyone in need. We have blankets, doona’s, linen, sleeping bags, coats, beanies, scarves and socks. Available from Echuca Neighbourhood House - Monday thru to Thursday’s - 10am to 2 pm. Don’t struggle with the cold.
