24.01.2022 Well, we had it all. Rain, wind, thunder, lightning and even some sunshine. We left the back gate of the Echuca SUP headquarters at 5:30am and it had to be 30 degrees already! We met the 1st group of 22 down at the Vic Park Boat Ramp for a 6am departure, struggling to see the faces of each other from the darkness. 15.01.2022 Signing out Hey Echuca SUP family. I give you this short clip and my words today to express my gratitude and love to all of you. Over the last fortnight Jess and I have been working really hard behind the scenes in a handover process. For me, I’m checking out. ... Coming up 6 years it’s time for me to hand over the business to some new energy and motivation. Time flys when ya havin fun aye! No truer words could be spoken. From internationals to home grown Echuca locals. I love ya and I’ll miss you all. From all of the laughs to some pretty scary and interesting moments. I’ll miss them too. I’m a carpenter by trade and it’s what I’ve done in and around paddle boarding with you lot. Over the Covid months my mate Ben and I started up a little carpentry business, @blbuilt_. This is where my energy and time will be put from now on and I’m excited to see where that takes us. It’s a tough pill to swallow but I know deep down it’s the right thing for me to do, a little burnt out you could say. Haych and I have booked in a summer holiday! How good is that! I went for a paddle with my cousins yesterday and Corinda says to me while we sit in the back of the troopy it’s pretty much been your steps into growing up.
