23.01.2022 Get timely, accurate and relevant information directly from the EAS to your smart device The Supplementary Alerting Service (SAS) application is now available a...nd free to all CFA members. It is an Emergency management Victoria-funded app, developed by Ernst & Young and built in consultation with ESTA, CFA, SES and Ambulance Victoria The SAS application has been developed to work alongside the existing EAS paging system to provide members with increased functionality and enhanced communication during incident response. These features include the ability to respond to EAS messages, see which members are attending an incident, view member qualifications and availabilities, and chat to other brigade members The app is available to download on both Apple and Android devices; a web version is also available. You can find the app by searching for Supplementary Alerting Service in the relevant app store. SAS is the only application endorsed for use by CFA members. It is free to download and use (data charges may apply). Members of CFA and SES or Ambulance Victoria can also link these accounts within the SAS app. For further information please watch the help video below or get in touch by emailing [email protected]

18.01.2022 Today we mark one year since the start of the devastating bushfires which deeply affected Victorian communities across the state. On 21 November, 2019 the first... ‘code red’ fire danger rating in almost a decade was declared in the Mallee and Northern Country, and dry lightning strikes in East Gippsland that started three fires which grew to a widespread bushfire disaster that burned for months. Today we reflect on the devastation and challenges that followed 21 November and the incredible support from all emergency services who came together to aid the communities impacted by the unprecedented fire season. 09.01.2022 As the Summer camping season is upon us, Campaspe Police Service Area members wish to remind locals and visitors of their responsibilities when it comes to camp...ing, fishing and socialising in and around our local rivers. The Murray and Goulburn Rivers around the Echuca area are a very popular holiday destination. Please adhere to the daily fire restrictions and Parks Victoria rules and regulations. Anti-social behaviour is and has been an issue at this time of the year. Loud music, unruly human behaviour and erratic driving in camping areas, all cause issues for not only local Police members, but also for local residents and fellow campers. Please act in a responsible manner, do not drink and drive, be mindful of people around you and do not drink alcohol to excess. Enjoy what the Campaspe region of Victoria has to offer and have a safe and happy New Year. Campaspe Police Service Area members.

05.01.2022 There is a light blue ve commodore getting around dingee and surrounding areas. Our dog just started barking so we got up to have a look and a bloke was at the ...side of our place, when we asked what he wanted he said he was looking for 25 king street. He walked down the road where a waiting car was. We went out where the cars were and saw the lid of one of tool boxes on one of the Utes was up. Clearly they were up to no good. Please share this post. Not sure what would have happened if he wasn’t disturbed by the dogs PLEASE SHARE I’ve called police too, make sure your cars, especially working utes with tools on board are locked up
