25.01.2022 We are lucky enough to have an on-site Preschool, which we share a variety of events with throughout the year. Our Rosella Class (Receptions) share 'buddy' experiences with the Preschoolers during the year to support our transition process. Our Transition visits to school will begin soon - but to kick it off we invite all parents of our 2021 receptions to join us for an information session. We hope to see you there!

24.01.2022 A big thank you to everyone (Glen, Dee, Kate, Sarah, Jaye & Dan, Carly, Karen, Stacey and Carly) who came and assisted with our Mount Barker Bunnings BBQ fundraiser today. It was a huge success thanks to the contributions from Max Noske butchers, Barker Boys and Woolies Mount Barker. $732 was raised. A special shout out to Glen and Nat Wandless for their booking and thorough organisation for the whole day, including these awesome aprons that made everyone serving look like a pro!

19.01.2022 We are pleased to have been informed that our school crossing has the go ahead for upgrading! This is very much needed and we want to acknowledge and thank all Governing Council members who have campaigned for this over the years. The crossing will change to a Koala crossing. Koala crossings have white road markings, red and white posts and two yellow alternating flashing lights. They are only operational when the yellow lights are flashing and a speed limit of 25 km/h applie...s to drivers between signs on the approach to the crossing. Drivers must stop for pedestrians using or about to use the crossing. Student crossing monitors will assist pedestrians to cross. We have confirmed today that students will be trained by SAPol on the 27th April at 2pm and a parent information session will follow after this. Work on the crossing is due to start on the 6th April and will continue for around a month. We can continue to use the crossing at this time. We will keep you updated on the progress.

14.01.2022 Last Friday, with the guidance of our amazing groundsman, we began planting some new bush tucker plants in the Aboriginal Garden. Our 5/6/7 students have researched and presented information on each plant; which helped with the mapping and planning for planting. The 5/6/7s are now working with Kayla and the Reception students to plant the plants. Stage 2 of our Aboriginal Garden is officially underway!
