20.01.2022 What sugar does to your teeth!! Every time we eat or drink sugar, certain bacteria that lives on the surface of our teeth consumes the sugar and turns it into acid. This acid remains on the surface of the teeth and pulls minerals out of the tooth, causing it to weaken. These repeated acid attacks cause mineral loss in the tooth’s enamel, stripping away the protection the tooth needs. Over time, this can destroy the enamel and result in a cavity.

14.01.2022 Due to the increase of recent cases of community- based transmission of COVID19 across the state in recent weeks. We would appreciate our patients to attend their appointment alone (where possible, unless a support person is required). A parent to accompany one child to their appointment. All others if they could wait at home or in the car if possible. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we navigate through the pandemic. To continue to keep everyone, staff and patients safe. Everyone must pass a screening test including routine temperature checking. Patients who are or have been unwell with flu like symptoms, or have been tested for COVID19 and awaiting results will be asked to reschedule their appointment.
