22.01.2022 Originally the bathroom had two rooms in which one was open to the bedroom. We knocked down the wall in the bathroom in order to create a large bathroom and also created a wall to separate the bedroom and the bathroom with careful consideration to blend the old with the new. 18.01.2022 Deck 1 is a inner courtyard where we created a plunge pool with seating and a new deck area. We used Trex composite decking here which has its own side channel and secret fixing system. Deck 2 is a finger jointed Jarrah deck board 90mm wide drilled and screwed from above. Verandah 1 is a 130mm Jarrah deck board.... 06.01.2022 This little two bedroom unit in Subiaco has been re vamped with Gyproc to the walls, a flat ceiling with insulation, a little separation wall between the laundry and kitchen and a feature screen in the lounge to divide the dining and living area. The bathroom and kitchen were updated with minimum fuss. By doing small inexpensive changes you really can completely transform a space. 05.01.2022 This second floor was originally just a second living room and a bedroom. The owners wanted to utilise the space in the attic which was off the living room area. The attic has now been converted into a second bedroom and a bathroom with cupboards in the hallway. This Applecross attic conversion was a challenge to our skill set but a pleasure to work on. This took place under the existing roof line, which had five new steel beams spanning the existing ground floor, plus a ne...w steel apex frame to support the roof which all fit in with the existing structure in order to support the new environment. The homeowners were able to remain living in the house while we were busy renovating upstairs. We created a wonderful retreat along with a bedroom and bathroom. For more information, photos, videos of this attic conversion and to get in contact with us visit our website: https://www.ecodbr.com.au/project-1
