23.01.2022 Whats really in our sand and beaches?? Can u guess what it is? Read on to win. When I was at the beach on the weekend with my kids I GOT DOWN take a real look at the washup of weed on the hightide mark.... From standing height one could easily mistake scraps that should not be there for shells. Now i only looked and dug for five minutes and look what i found. A heap of pretty coloured stuff .. plastic. what really got me was the white shell looking thing. Now Tradies and Handymen and women take a close look. I want as many people as possible to see this post. We are all responsible for what we turf out as it does eventually get to the beaches. Not necessarily big visible stuff like bottles and toothbrushes!! We will give a set of 5 straws to the person who posts the answer on their own page with this post and gets the most likes. How long will it take?
