23.01.2022 Story time Check out this 'you beaut' deck built with UltraLife Decking One of the the builders main priorities on this job was to make sure timber leachi...ng didn't occur. The deck was backing onto an established driveway, so he didnt want excess bleeding by the species as he wanted to lightly stain the deck. The customer knew she wanted an environmentally renewable timber and had her doubts about the hardwood currently on the market. Queue, Ultralife Decking! This timber, not only has the environmental certification but is made from waste materials that other timber industries leave around. The builder was really happy with the Ultralife decking range and has completed a retaining wall through to posts and a drink rail with five meter lengths as standard, leaving minimal waste on the job. Not only did he get what he wanted but the products were all straight which halved his labour time. He managed to finish the job two days earlier than expected, leaving both customer and builder very happy with the end result. 15.01.2022 Introducing our new broad walk / bridge product. ECO5000 MAXI-SPAN Just to show you how unbelievably strong this product is, check out the breakpoint for this sheet. That's right a sheet 3000 x 600x45 it's so strong it can be used as a suspended slab for car ports. It breaks at 7 tonne point load on the edge, that's a semi trailer, that's ridiculous!!! Can you think of any other uses?

We have had the pleasure of working on this project with Brookfield Multiplex. It was a challenging project to get up and going however our guys put in the extra effort and with a product as versatile as the Eco5000, the results speak for themselves. 03.01.2022 Wow - what a design by Stockland Green Hills and Multiplex Global, very eco way of presenting Eco5000 LVL. There are six of the seating areas each having 72 pieces of 100x45 tapering down to 75x45 on the other end. Each piece was pre routed out to suit the track lighting being installed and also predrilled for wiring.... All were then finished in factory here with 2 coats of clear finish. So as we all know it is not just a decking product anymore. Last photo is the final 100 of the 432 pieces receiving their final coat and ready for packing and despatch on Monday. Well done Ben and team Platinum Timber and Ply for making the difficult, easy.
