16.01.2022 Lovely aspect from the windows beside my desk at the moment. Looking out towards the little dam (or duck pond, as the contractor called it when I explained where I wanted it and the waterway excavated!) The Lemon Scented Gum has lost its grey bark and looks very much like a Ghost Gum! The purple/blue of the Agapanthus is being set off by their strappy green leaves and the other foliage. Lots of birds to watch living their busy little lives. ... I think I'll put in another bird bath and maybe hang a feeder over here to get even more action! 14.01.2022 Strained some milk kefir to make probiotic kefir cheese. Flavoured with chopped fresh figs, raw honey and cinnamon verum. Lovely on toast, or just by the spoonful! Of course the by-product of this method, is whey. So, two wonderful gut health products at once, If you are new to kefir, please start slow or you can suffer from an upset tummy and be racing for the toilet!
