23.01.2022 Ecoclean is currently excepting applications for a day Shift Supervisor to work in the Melbourne CBD Job brief EcoClean is looking for a responsible person to oversee multiple sites across Melbourne's CBD.... The role is a complex one. Applicants will not just be someone who supervises the work of others but will also have a hands on role. A supervisor is also responsible for coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between Team Members management. The ideal candidate will be a competent individual who will be able to guide and train employees. He/She will be well-versed in processes under the role’s responsibility and will be results-driven and focused. The goal is to ensure that operations are carried out productively so as to ensure profitability and sustainable growth. Responsibilities Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching Receive complaints and resolve problems Maintain timekeeping and personnel records Pass on information from management to employees and vice versa Prepare and submit performance reports Hire and train new employees Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises Requirements Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines for Cleaning Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Outstanding organizational and leadership skills Good knowledge of MS Office Applicants must have a current Victorian Licence. Applicants must be available to work between 6am and 7pm this is a split shift approx 4.5 hrs in the morning and evening. Monday to Friday Award Rates and entitlements apply. This is a short term employment opportunity.

Victoria Applicants must have the ability to work Rotating shifts Monday to Sunday (5 days on 2 days off) applicants will be required to work weekends in rotation. Applicants must be physically fit and able to work on their feet for a minimum of 7.5hrs per day. Applicants must be able to work in a fast paced team taking instructions from a shift supervisor and be committed to u...pholding our highly critical Cleaning standards. Applicants must have right to work in Australia, proof will be required before moving forward with application. Award rates and penalty rates for weekends apply, including annual leave, sick leave and portable long service. Successful team members may be offered opportunities to work on other sites in Victoria and Nationally if suitable and available to do so.
