06.01.2022 So yesterday I did something purely for me! I booked myself into a new hairdresser, put my full trust in her and had a complete restyle! Why did I do this and why would this matter to you? Life brought me to this point... To be completely honest, I've been feeling stuck! You know the feeling of being in two places at once, that's (was) me. I felt it was time to shed some old beliefs, old stories and start the foundation of new beginnings. We all have SO many reasons to feel ...this way, am I right? Example #1: recovering from the 2020 "hangover" of a massive life upheaval. People coming into 2021 thinking sh!t will go back to normal! Most of us knew, the old normal will never be normal. Example #2: I'm a super busy Mum with a household of 5 kids. I have an 18 year old son with disabilities that takes up a LOT of my time but is also my inspiration and reason to soldier on! Life is one crazy roller coaster but we got this! And.... Heartlead reason #3: I am a woman of pure determination. I love my family, I LOVE my Eco Clique dream I LOVE my customers and I want to show up everyday sharing fun, educational, honest, and real connections. What does any of this have to do with me having my hair restyled? Well I felt stuck in the mud between the past and the future. I've always felt challenging yourself with something that takes you out of your comfort zone can only bring new beginnings and shift one's mindset. I've lopped off the past, years of it, and I've opened the beautiful big golden door of courage, intention and growth! 01.01.2022 Ya know when you smile SO hard you look slightly constipated?? OK well that's me like most of the time I'm a self confessed introverted extrovert and it's a challenging place to be at times! When I first saw these photos of myself (especially the full laughing constipated one ) I completely cringed. I shared it with a friend as a bit of a joke and she replied saying I look absolutely beautiful with an infectious smile that lights up the world What a turn around to ho...w I saw myself! Isn't it interesting what we think of ourselves and what our loved ones see. I can safely say I am far too harsh a critic on myself when I really should be celebrating the woman I am. The REAL me: I LOVE hard I WORK hard I GIVE generously from the depths of my heart I am SUPER extra! I write how I speak I overuse Emjoi's like kids binging on candy I am incredibly passionate about my biz and my people (my Clique ) I am Aquarian (random throw in but explains a few things haha ) I also don't have pink hair anymore and have gone the complete opposite to being a rebel and letting my colour grow out! I have a few bright, silvery, sparkly highlights making front and centre stage. I kinda like them! I kinda think I am beginning to 'like me' exactly how and who I am I'm vibing 2021 is the year of love, acceptance, patience and new beginnings. How does 2021 look for you so far?
