The manufacturing process having the most emissions, it is still proved to be 3 to 10 times lesser than those of fossil fuels. The benefits will vary depending on the energy generation and solar radiance of you location but overall solar panels provide a positive net impact. It is also important to note that solar panel technology is constantly improving and companies are already taking on the recycling projects that will become significant in the near future due to the increasing amount of demand for solar.
