22.01.2022 Why clothing care labels always tell you to wash with similar colours. In the fabric industry, where price competition is high, companies use a lot of cheap and poor quality dyes. Recently, it is produced by companies in China, India and other countries in the third-world due to environmental problems caused by the production of chemical dyes. Dyes of the same colour, but of poor quality with different chemical structure or refining degree, must be a great temptation for smal...l companies. And, there is no room to have the capacity to judge the harm. They just choose the cheap one. Furthermore, bamboo(viscose) fibre and polyester are frequently used in apparel, and there are direct dyes and disperse dyes that are relatively easy to discolour and easily transfer to the skin. Disperse dyes are used to dye synthetic fibres such as polyester, which can cause skin disease. Garment labels have almost all cautionary statements about washing with similar colours. What does this mean? This can be seen as a sign admitting that dyes can be easily removed; since cheap dyes were produced through a cheap process, consumers should take care of the situation that they are transferred during washing. In today’s society, too many products are produced with too many processes and chemical raw materials, so it is impossible to check that all products are safe. In this era, only wise consumption while studying will be able to protect me, my family and this global environment from hazardous chemicals. -Eco Friendly Generation

12.01.2022 At present, the degree of harmfulness of these harmful substances has not been determined, but it is clear that the only way to protect the health of our child is to avoid them. * Baby wipes -> Fluorescent brightener, Surfactant, Formaldehyde, Methanol, Preservative, Coloring agent, Artificial flavor, Benzene, Heavy metals.... Wipes are one of the most essential items for mothers to use when changing nappies or going out. Since the immunity directly touches the baby's skin, it should be carefully selected when choosing. According to safety certification standards, chemical substances contained in commercially available wipes include fluorescent brighteners, surfactants, formaldehyde, methanol, preservatives, colorants, artificial flavors, benzene, and heavy metals. Formaldehyde is a highly toxic substance that is considered a major cause of environmental pollution. It irritates atopic dermatitis and can cause cancer when exposed for a long time. Fluorescent brighteners are colorless or pale yellow in nature, but they glow due to fluorescent whitening agent under ultraviolet light(black light). It is used to make paper or fibers look whiter, and babies with sensitive skin can cause skin problems. A variety of chemicals are included in some wipes, including colorants for coloring and artificial fragrances for fragrance. * Nappies & Baby clothing -> Fluorescent whitening agent, Surfactant, Formaldehyde, Bleach, Coloring agent. Cloth diapers, handkerchiefs, and clothes are often added with chemicals such as fluorescent brighteners and surfactants due to the nature of the product. Evidence that these chemicals are harmful has not been fully elucidated, but there is no indication that they are not harmful. In addition to the fluorescent whitening agent, a chemical that is strong enough to make the yellowish fabric white, surfactants that act to remove dirt by foaming are powerful and irritating to the atopic skin. In general, formaldehyde, bleach, and colorants remain in the clothes of white or colorful babies, which is likely to cause allergies and respiratory disorders. In conclusion, it is best to choose organic nappies, clothing, etc., which is not chemically treated during the processing process.

11.01.2022 Eco Friendly Generation was born from the vision of protecting our nature for future generations come.

08.01.2022 From field to fabric, the process of making cotton transforms the raw fibres into threads, yarns, and fabrics. Our naturally coloured organic cotton fabrics are totally different from general cotton fabrics from field to fabric as shown in the pictures.
