This is the Bassendean job finished (albeit a bit more painting by our lovely client) The recycled bricks came up a treat, thanks to the backpacker cleaning gang and Joe our wonderful Brickie #jobossbricklaying and of course our wonderful client who had the foresight to re use the bricks from demolished garage and old kitchen Stay tuned for our new look website coming soon. Kind regards , Jamie

20.01.2022 After being rudely interupted by a week of 40 degree plus weather we are now back on track. Recycled brickwork 95% done, just need to put sills in. Time for some carpentry to give the addition its final shape.

20.01.2022 Moving walls and making new openings. Getting the spaces ready for a kitchen renovation.

20.01.2022 Finally, it's that time of year again

19.01.2022 If you have an unusually shaped block, we can custom design a building for you. This is a granny flat or ancillary dwelling. Give us a call, we will meet you on site, listen to what you require and offer some Solar Passive and spatial design advice. We will then draw up some renders. Our design process is very open. Our plans are independently estimated giving our clients the ultimate in unique design and competitive pricing.

18.01.2022 Bathroom Renovation all done. This was previously the 30 year old original bathroom complete with knee high bricked up hob. It was quite terrible before. Looks Hollywood now

17.01.2022 Some of the projects we have on the go at the moment. Busy good times.

17.01.2022 Eco retro fitting. Making your home more sustainable, more energy efficient and more comfortable. Also making it more beautiful. This expandable foil insulation does a great job of giving raking ceilings like this one a real boost in insulation. Client has reported a marked improvement already.

15.01.2022 First summer for the new wicking beds. Stopped hand watering them 2 weeks ago and they are doing just fine. These are made from IBC cut in half, blue stones wrapped in geotextlie fabric as reservoir, 50mm pvc pipe as water delivery to reservoir and of course some veg mix soil. Simples

15.01.2022 And then there was a roof.

15.01.2022 Floorboards down and getting some protection before we start the drywall.

05.01.2022 https://au.news.yahoo.com//hamilton-hill-project-showcase/ The home we built with MSG Architecture has featured in last weekends West Australian. If you read the article the MSG Architects give a great description of the design and the philosophies behind it. We love the design by MSG Architecture so much that we now have a licence to replicate the home. We also have a similar design also by MSG Architecture which is slightly larger. The 2 homes can easily be modified to suit different client needs and sites.

05.01.2022 Need to get that small Reno job done before Christmas? Be sure to give us a call. Customer satisfaction and the highest quality workmanship guarenteed. Jamie 0450 528 404

04.01.2022 Replacing old clear sheeting on Patio with Bondor "Solar Span". Solar Span is a SIPs (Structural Insulated Panel) roof top is corrugated tin and underside is pre painted flat tin (ie pre finished ceiling). In between these two skins is Expanded Polystyrene which also contains a fire retardent. So it is structural (self supporting) , insulated and has a ceiling ready to go. If anyone is wondering what the future of building is , well this is it. SIPs come in many different f...orms and are made by many different manufactures. My favourite is Pure Panel (both sides of this Panel are CFC (Compressed Fibre Cement) which means the inside is the look of Gyprock wall except much stronger (dont kick it or you will break your toes) and the external can be finished in what ever you like, from leaving it raw, to painting, to a render look or fixing timber panels to it, choices are only limited by your imagination. These Panels are made here in Perth. On our website we have plans of a home that can be constructed using Pure Panel , we have priced this against timber frame and brick construction and the cost savings are significant, up to 50% savings on materials and labour. If you want the most advanced, cost effective, solar passive, sustainable and stunning home on the market today just get in contact with us and we will tailor a design to suit your block of land. 01.01.2022 Hey Liberal Party, How about forgetting the time and money wasting cesession debate and proposing something worthwhile like this in our state. That's what polititions should be doing, advocating for positive change, not nit picking on fruitless endeavours.
