25.01.2022 Let's talk veggies! I think now more then ever, it's really important to start thinking about how you can become just a little bit more self sufficient with food. After woolworths and Coles were nearly stripped bare it was really obvious to me that not a lot of people are self sufficient with their own food. For a couple of reasons I think it's so important. 1- fresh food is sooooo much better for your body! 2- you don't have to rely on outlets 100% 3- you're saving so mu...ch money in the long run 4- you're actually learning how to certain foods so you can learn seasonal eating better. 5- you're getting in the garden and playing with dirt which is good for the soul. I heart it all the time, "I rent so I can't because I'll eventually be moving" "I live in an apartment with a small balcony" "I don't know how to grow" "I don't have enough time in the day" These are all great excuses hahaha I currently am renting a house, running a full time business and doing heaps of extra things on the side, and I manage a portable veggie garden no worries at all. I highly encourage everyone to consider growing their own veggies. And if you need help or want advice on how to do it because you seriously believe it's impossible. I'll help show you how to turn impossible into possible See more

12.01.2022 Today's Plant. Persian Sheild! This plant is a great indoor plant which is originally from Burma. The Persian Sheild likes shade or semi-shade. Because this plant is from the tropics and sub tropics, it likes the humidity. To create a good amount of humidity for a potted plant, place a layer of pebbles in the plate under the pot plant and fill it with as much water as you can. This creates the humid effect which makes sure the plant stays nice and healthy. I hope you guys... enjoyed this one because I love it Let me know what you think in the comments See more

11.01.2022 This is such a powerful message! I encourage everyone to spend the time to watch this and really take on the advice, and ask yourself are you really doing what you love? Or are you doing what you're doing because you think it's your only option? Or are you doing it because you've been told "this is what you have to do to be successful" by someone who has a totally different vision to you? Just have a think, are you butting heads with fear or are you trying different ice creams??

10.01.2022 Another total garden wipeout i did i little while ago now . This was fun to do and I think the reward for all the hard work speaks for itself. There are heaps of beds already designed and layered, so all that needs to be done now is figure out what's going back into it haha Sometimes it's best to create a blank canvas so you can re-think about how you want you garden set out. Maybe you want to change the theme, or layer the plants better. Whatever the reason, I'll be more then happy to help create that garden you've been dreaming of.

10.01.2022 Today's Plant might actually get you a bit hungry! We're looking at the Lobster claw plant Otherwise know as Heliconia rostrata. Given it's name because the flowers look so similar to a lobster claw! This guy is native to central and South America, and definitely is a topical plant haha unfortunately for Canberra People this wouldn't have a chance of survival here because any frost and it's tapping out unfortunately. ... I think this one is pretty unique, what do you reckon? See more

Haha Today's fun fact is about the wonderful SUNFLOWER These are one of my favourite flowers. And did you know that the sunflower is not just 1 flower #what? That's right, the sunflower brown centre and yellow petals are actually 1000-2000 individual flowers held together on a single stalk ... Let me know in the comments section If this is new news to you or if your mind just got blown E-CO FACTS

04.01.2022 Today's Plant is a goodie! I've chosen to share the Grevillea Honey Gem. This grevillea grows quite big and the rainbow lorikeets love it just as much as I do! The rainbow lorikeets enjoy the nectar and seed it gives off. Most Grevillea's are great bird attracting plants because some can be really dense and prickly which provides good safety for the birds while they feast! I hope you guys have all enjoyed this little Gem
