25.01.2022 Happy Grand final day!... For what it's worth here in Vic .. my daughters are Tigers supporters so I'm pretty sure I know what they will be doing today. Not great weather for being out and about ... But if you are ... Drop in and cheer me up.

24.01.2022 This is the corner of a hand sewn sail made in the 1800s. The craftsmanship and quality of the work is amazing. This is a lost art. The canvas sails were made o...f hemp along with clothing, ropes, and the caulking used to fill gaps between planks among other things. Hemp is 3 times stronger than jute and was preferred because it was unaffected by salt water. The work done by sail makers was demanding and left no room for error as their sails would be what brings fishermen home safely. See more

These are being offered as a fundraiser for our local 51 Trees situated lakeside in Nagambie that are under imminent threat of removal. 03.01.2022 Greetings folks. Well, these are certainly tough times ...and we are all feeling this situation in different ways and its pressures and difficulties it is bringing to bear on our lives. It has certainly affected ours and our family's worlds massively and of course, our business as all businesses are having to adapt to the situation as best we can to survive. At the end of the day, all we really need is a roof over our heads, food and love. Many struggle to have this in their... worlds with our without COVID and this is a dreadful aspect of this modern world. Everything is moving into the extreme right now and we are all wanting to take care of one another for the way forward now more than ever don't you think? We are missing the flow of running our little shop in Nagambie...not as bizzy buzzy as it was in Bellingen but it was really starting to flow and grow :) We decided to open part-time hours (3 afternoons weekly-mon-wed-fri-2-5pm). This is really only a gesture because the town is so quiet and no one is out browsing understandably. Given this, we have finally decided to put our energy into our website (something we struggled with given we like the face to face vibe of being in the shop...the smiles, the chats and the connection)...but the current state of play has forced this upon us and so be it. OUR WEBSITE IS READY TO ROLL :)) Its been up for a while but we haven't wanted to promote it till it was ready enough to do so:) So friends and kindred folks who are into quality stuff created with eco-awareness production values and ingredients, why not have a look at our website...share the link if you can and you never know there might be something there you might want for yourself or someone you care about.
