09.01.2022 Nearly there I can see the finish line now just one more project, a commercial building & I will have my diploma. Part of the brief is the use of concrete which I am keen to learn so much more about.... My inspiration is the Art Deco triangular shapes, stepped forms & sweeping curves that can be found in every form of Art Deco, from furniture to buildings. Hoping to get creative with the facade & concrete as well as honouring the heritage & history of the location. This building designed by Promontorio has an interesting design using concrete to block sun and create a unique facade. I like the patterns in the concrete.

01.01.2022 The 1960’s Kingscliff’s Community Hall, Thankfully it was saved and refurbished. I just love the Architecture from the 50’s This project won the the Heritage Award at the AIA NSW Country Division Awards 2019.
