They are part of the same company @southwestprovisions who supply me with EVERY ingredient that goes into my cheeses so in reality when you purchase a jar from these guys you are supporting 3 local businesses! ... This amazing food store is located in the LIA on Commonage road in Dunsborough near @corrynnesnaturalsoap my favourite soap shop. Such a great little shopping precinct. 22.01.2022 Grilled Mushroom , Caramelised Onion Jam & Cashew cheese pizza. It will take only a a few minutes to prepare this plant based pizza. Preheat your oven to 200C Grab a pizza base of choice , spread on your cashew cheese. Sauté some mushrooms in olive oil , dollop on some onion jam (@Providorewa does a good one! ) arrange your mushrooms and bake on 200C until browned. Approximately 10-12 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and some snipped herbs or rocket. Serve!

22.01.2022 Did you know that our Cashew Cheese makes a DELICIOUS salad dressing?! Seen here on a kale & roasted chickpea & cashew salad.. Remove 3-4 tbs of CC from the jar and put in a small bowl. Add a squeeze of lime or lemon juice and a splash of tamari soy sauce and stir. Add a tsp of maple syrup if you like things on the sweeter side or a couple of drops of sesame oil if you want an Asian twist. ... Fresh herbs such as mint, coriander or parsley are a nice addition too. That’s it .. super simple !! 21.01.2022 Fresh bbq Asparagus with Persian style almond feta , garlic crumbs and lemon vinaigrette. Our baked Almond Feta is immersed in local olive oil , fresh herbs and lemon zest. The marinade can be used to make a dressing for this salad. ( or any salad for that matter! ) ... For the simplest option just whisk the oil together with fresh lemon juice , salt and pepper. To take it to the next level add a crushed garlic clove and a spoon of Dijon mustard. The perfect dairy free summer salad or side dish. 07.01.2022 A little Wednesday Hump day inspiration. Fish tacos with charred corn salsa, coleslaw and Cashew Cheese... For the corn salsa just take a cob of corn and char on a gas stove top or bbq turning frequently until charred all over. Lying corn on its side cut the charred kernels off and add to a bowl. Add a chopped tomato, half a red capsicum , a few tbs of chopped coriander , a splash of lime juice and a few tbs of EV olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and you are done! 04.01.2022 These halloumi and vegetable fritters served with cashew cheese are the perfect snack for an isolation picnic in the backyard ?! Let’s face it - what we need right now are more snacks !!! So easy to make and most ingredients you will already have on hand. ... 1 Zucchini, grated & moisture removed 1 Carrot, grated & moisture removed 1/2 cup Corn Kernels, use fresh, frozen or canned 80 grams / 2.8 oz Halloumi Cheese, grated 1/2 tsp sugar Large pinch salt 1 spring onion (white part only), thinly sliced 4 tbsp Plain Flour 2 Eggs Grate the zucchini and carrot directly into a colander and leave rest for 10 minutes. Then squeeze out extra moisture by wringing the mixture with your hands and placing in a clean bowl, add rest of ingredients ( minus oil ) and mix thoroughly. Heat oil in frying pan on medium heat. Place a tablespoon or so of the fritter mixture in the pan , cook for 3-4 minutes then flip and flatten slightly with spatula , cook for another few minutes or until browned. Repeat with the remaining mixture, cooking in batches without overcrowding the pan. Serve with cashew cheese to spread over. If the kids are enjoying them then just take the chilli oil from the top of the cc , scoop out some cashew cheese into a ramekin and then replace oil in jar to preserve.
