25.01.2022 While small businesses may not generate as much money as large corporations, they are a critical component of and major contributor to the strength of local eco...nomies. Small businesses present new employment opportunities and serve as the building blocks of communities. The feedback we've had from small business owners is that by them stocking Gippsland Jersey milk, it has boosted traffic and income because people are going out of their way to support us, and in turn this is strengthening our local economies. This is a good news story! We're looking forward to presenting at Economic Development Australia (EDA) 2017 Victorian state conference in a few weeks time. The conference theme is "The Art of Excellence" and it is around the economic impacts that all industries from tourism to arts and culture to more traditional industries like farming and manufacturing to emerging industries like robotics can and are having on regions. We will be sharing our story of how we came to be, why we're doing it and sharing some more insights into how our little milk company is impacting our local economy - along with what the future looks like for Gippsland Jersey. #Repost @yinnargeneralstore Gippsland Jersey Milk is here to stay! Thank you to those of you who have made the switch to support local farmers. We are so excited to announce that thanks to your support we have the numbers to continue to stock this great product here at Yinnar General Store! Cheers to the local community for helping to spread the word. @gippslandjersey #gippslandjersey #gippsland #latrobevalley #visitgippsland #visitlatrobevalley #yinnar #yinnarsouth #boolarra #delburn #narracan #jeeralang #madeingippsland #supportlocal #shoplocal #generalstore #yinnarstore #yinnargeneralstore #gotmilk #milkbar #visitvictoria #ilovegippsland #liveinvictoria #inspiredbygippsland #gippslandsfinest #ruralvictoria #ruralaustralia Baw Baw Shire Council Yinnar General Store
