16.01.2022 Sounds very familiar - I had to give up on ANZ for a refinance after waiting about 6 weeks with no response.... and I know of other lost business because ANZ took too long and client went direct to another bank instead

14.01.2022 We recommend that, before you sign a contract, you obtain a strata report which identifies if the building has any flammable cladding. Email us if you want the contact details of strata experts who can help you. It is also important that you can afford the ongoing strata levies or any special levies expected in circumstances where more than 50 people on average are bankrupted by body corporates each year for failure to pay.

11.01.2022 I hope all my clients read this article. Do not buy in a strata building in NSW without a strata report and a definitive answer on whether the building is one of the 414 in NSW which are currently on the list with possible flammable cladding to be remediated or removed The VIC government is assisting its residents with a $600 million pool to help remove the deadly cladding but the NSW government is leaving each owner to pay the cost of removal. The building in the article has cost $3 million to remove the cladding paid for by the owners so far. 04.01.2022 Interesting tool to obtain averages in an area but don't rely on it giving you a real indication of what price you should pay. Average cost of property in an area is never really representative of the purchase price actually paid as often prices range hundreds of thousands of dollars difference in the same street depending on the quality of the house.
