18.01.2022 UPDATE TO RULE 1 PLEASE READ! Just to let everyone know our Pay it Forward has a couple of rules we would like people to please follow due to recent events regarding safety issues. So to keep everyone safe the following rules are effective immediately Rule 1: When people come in to see me can they please park out the front of our building and not in our driveway as we have a lot of trucks coming in all the time if you are wanting to drop off items we will place items in cage... out the front. If you are collecting furniture you are more than welcome to please drive in. Rule 2: All Children must stay with parent or Guardian at all times either in car with an adult whilst the other comes in to reception due to our staff working in the yards with the Fork trucks and we want to make sure they are safe at all times. Thank you to all for understanding our policy.

08.01.2022 Important Update from Foodbank WA in regards to COVID-19 Foodbank WA is currently prioritising their response to the COVID-19 with a focus on continuing to support our front line charity partners and the most vulnerable members of our community, under increasingly challenging circumstances. Disrupted supply chains and panic buying means that there is very little food being donated. We’re also facing uncertain times with our fundraising due to social distancing and self-quaran...tine measures, which limits our ability to purchase food at this time. I would like to request your patience and understanding during this time and assure you that we are doing everything we can to ensure continuity of service is maintained. In the meantime, please observe the following important information: Food restrictions Like the broader community, Foodbank WA has experienced an increase in demand for food and groceries and we are continuing to work with our suppliers and funders to source any surplus food and to fund food purchasing. In the meantime, we have placed limits on some food and grocery items for individual shoppers and agency cardholders. Safety measures The health and safety of our staff, volunteers and customers during this time is paramount. Foodbank WA will continue to provide regular updates to our registered agencies about the status of COVID-19 that are consistent with information provided by the State and Federal Departments of Health and WHO in attempt to keep everyone safe and to stop the spread. Please practice good hygiene The most important thing you can do to keep yourself and other safe is to practice good hygiene. This includes: washing hands regularly for 20 seconds use the hand sanitiser provided cover your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing practice social distancing and avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness, such as coughing and sneezing. Please don’t visit if you are unwell If you are unwell or you have recently travelled to a ‘hotspot’ and you come home feeling unwell, please do not visit Foodbank for the recommended 14 day period for the safety of others. We will get through this difficult time together, so I thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions, please get in touch. If you have any questions feel free to contact us or the Foodbank.
