10.01.2022 EcoSmart Ecology is looking for a volunteer to assist Jarrad with his first trip to the Mount Isa area to deploy cameras for long-term monitoring of Carpentarian Pseudantechinus (Pseudantechinus mimulus). Jarrad will be driving from Brisbane on May 14 and be spending approximately two weeks deploying 60 ScoutGuard cameras throughout the species' known range in Queensland. If you or anyone you know might be interested in this opportunity, please get in touch with Jarrad at [email protected]. All food and accommodation will be provided. Ideally you will also be willing to drive up with Jarrad, but we can also arrange flights.

04.01.2022 Jarrad has recently completed analysing photos (162,000) from his first field trip to northwest Queensland. While we can't share any data at this stage, we can share some photos of some of the species that have so far been captured using the 60 ScoutGuard SG-562C trail cameras which will be deployed for twelve months, gathering data on the seasonal activity patterns of the Carpentarian Pseudantechinus (Pseudantechinus mimulus).
