I've been amazed by the enormous level of positivity out there in my many conversations with members. You are truly an extraordinary bunch doing extraordinary things. More power to you. I'm reminded of the picture below showing that what your guests see is b...ased on all that you do behind the scenes. Keep moving forward - good times are coming. Now, more than ever, there is no doubt that what you are offering is what people want. Rod Hillman - CEO

10.01.2022 Congratulations to Kingfisher Cruises on your entry into Ecotourism Australia's Hall of Fame! Owner and operator of Kingfisher Cruises, Benita had some fond words to share about her guests over the years. "All of my guests are different and this makes every cruise different. I love the passengers who engage me and all on board, being a small vessel this happens daily! I love engaging with my guests' diversities and cultures, but most of all I love helping them all make new m...emories." However, when asked what her best guest experience was to date, Benita couldn't go past one special visitor. "My best guest experience would be the day my now husband was on board. He was a passenger on a full boat so I didn't get the chance to speak to him much. After the cruise he asked for a photo and then he sent emails asking questions about the forest and river - I answered his emails as I do for all! In the end he asked me out for a drink, we have now been married for 14 years with two beautiful children who both love the cruise." The power of ecotourism! Kingfisher Cruises is celebrating 20 years of ECO certification. Stay tuned for tomorrow's Hall of Fame introduction.
