21.01.2022 Clear Water Festival is ON this Sunday at Devocean Dive. 10.30 - 4.30. 11am Bigs Eggert from Amun Ini, Phillipines will be our first speaker, followed by Hans Ullrich, our PADI regional manager answering all your questions about becoming a PADI Professional. Bjorn Nelson from Oceanic and Hollis will be showcasing the HOLLIS Explorer rebreather as well as demonstrating sidemount. Then it will be pool open! Bouyancy workshop, sidemount tryout, rescue refresher.B-RAD is back and Hans will be in the pool so you can put him through his paces. Then James Brooke will be taking the stage to chat about his involvement in Sea Shepherd campaigns , on the ships, fighting the Japanese whaling vessels. Sea Shepherd will be in all day as well as Mark from Dive Adventures to answer questions about the coolest dive destinations.

17.01.2022 We need your help! These images of a juvenile male Grey Nurse Shark have been doing the rounds for the last 48 hours. The NSW Department of Primary Industries i...s seeking the publics help to bring these murderers to justice. There is absolutely NO excuse for shooting a Grey Nurse Shark. If you recognise the butchers in these photographs please contact the NSW DPI and let's bring them to justice. DPI Fisheries Officers are appealing to anyone with information on the alleged spearing of a Grey Nurse Shark near Mona Vale Beach on Sunday, 2 August 2015 to call the Fishers Watch Phoneline on 1800 043 536 or online at http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au//complia/report-illegal-activity. Two males were allegedly seen leaving the water with spearfishing gear and drove away in a late model champagne coloured Nissan Patrol. All information provided will be treated in strict confidence. A $2500 on the spot fine applies, with maximum penalties of $220,000 and or two years imprisonment for harming, buying, selling or possessing an endangered species such as Grey Nurse Shark.
