08.01.2022 Lets talk about New Years Resolutions!! Yup, hard to believe but we are 4 months since celebrating the arrival of 2019. This year I made a resolution to up my game when it came to reducing one use plastics that pass though my life with next to little thought (well to be honest they get lots of thought from me, but most of us are guilty of having a quick solution to a situation without giving any thought to the amount of plastic our lifestyles are disposing). So far in 201...9 I’ve used one takeaway coffee cup, Sydney airport you got me! I was wrangling two kids and it was a coffee or die situation I had the time to drink in, but the cafe didn’t have the facilities and so my run was broken. I’ve missed out on a few coffees for not having my #keepcup and I’ve borrowed a few cafes ceramic cups (returned them all of course!) and had an extra few sit and relax coffees, but so far I’m pretty impressed with my efforts. It doesn’t need to be a turn of a new year to make a resolution. How about you make a 5th April resolution and join me in my quest to leave a little less footprint on our glorious earth.
