25.01.2022 Anyone else love Nathan W Plye's work?
24.01.2022 I always get a little boost when I hear things like this
22.01.2022 Want the clean house without the toxic chemicals? I have available spaces for cleaning on Tuesday and Wednesday. $60 for kitchen, bathrooms, vacuum and mop. $80 for a more detailed clean. Discount available for 2x a week... Don't miss out, my spaces fill fast! Instead of using dangerous chemicals I use only Norwex microfiber and Doterra essential oils to keep you and your family safe
22.01.2022 Single use plastic should be left in the past
21.01.2022 Recycling fact dump: Recycling should be your last option. China has turned away our recyclable waste so it's on Australia and we can't keep up so much becomes waste. Items are usually recycled to a lesser product. We don't just recycle plastic bottles into more plastic bottles. Not much glass is recycled as new glass is cheaper. Aluminium however is highly recycled and sought after, yet it's questionable how good it is for you to eat food stored in it. Paper/takeaway cof...fee cups can't be re cycled in the normal bin as they contain a thin layer of plastic although 7/11s all have recycling bins. RedCycle bins are set up at most big supermarkets that accept any scrunchable plastic which are being turned into the likes of park benches but evidence says it all may be going to landfill. In saying that, at least it is all together in a tied bag preventing it from doing as much environmental damage. Also lets consider the water and energy used to recycle. Good news: Reusable versions of disposable products are often adorable and trendy as all hell because saving the planet is the biggest thing since sliced bread. In saying that, having more of a reusable product than you need also hurts the planet, just buy what you need. Plastic has a bad name because it lasts forever. That can be a pro as well as a con. If your intention is to reuse forever and it's not flimsy then often it can be a great option. Final note: If you won't regularly use the item you're intending to purchase can you hire or borrow it instead? Ask a friend, check fb for your local "Buy Nothing" group or even just your local buy and sell. 2nd hand is the best way to give new life to an item. And this symbol with a number inside does not actually mean recyclable. It refers to the type of plastic. LOVE YOUR PLANET. BUY CONSCIOUSLY. 20.01.2022 Hopefully it'll pick itself up off the floor by then too
20.01.2022 Do you use flushable wipes? My phone is flushable, it doesn't mean i should. These things don't break down like toilet paper and this is what the workers have to deal with. Personally i think we should be banned from flushing anything other than toilet paper and human waste

18.01.2022 Even if you're the designated one to be doing all the homely bits and pieces, modern society keeps making it harder and harder to keep up. And I'll tell you a secret... we're all fucking it up
17.01.2022 What uncertain times we are all dealing with right now?! Who can keep up?! I know i can't. I want to reach out and explain how this will be affecting my services while the coronavirus is out being difficult. For the last 10 days, since this started sounding really serious I've been following standard infection control procedures we used when i cleaned at a hospital. ... These changes include but are not limited to- * heavy disinfecting high touch areas *changing of clothes and shoes (between houses and immediately upon my arrival home, instant shower) *thorough hand washing *different cloths to avoid cross contamination *heavy clean of all cloths and equipment in 60 temps. *diffuser moving around the house with me I am putting a strong focus on my immune system at the moment and the clove oil has increased tenfold, don't be surprised if you can smell me before you see me. Trust that your health is and has always been my priority. My job is to keep you safe, healthy, and clean, from the corona virus, and any other nasties. I love you all
15.01.2022 Six little changes you can do today, to make a big difference! 1. Never buy another plastic bag They're simply not necessary. Get in the habit of using cotton o...r string bags. Use reusable produce bags for your loose veg. They're much more hygeinic, can be machine washed, are stronger and last a literal lifetime (unlike bags for life, which last like, a month). 2. Drink from cans instead of bottles. Next time you fancy a fizzy drink, buy a can instead of a bottle. Cans are 100% recyclable, here in the UK. Plastic bottles aren't, and may not be recycled even if you put them into the recycling bin. Also, water comes from a tap. If you're lucky enough to live where the tap water is potable, take full advantage of it! If you don't like the taste of your tap water, keep an open jug in the fridge overnight. The chlorine will evaporate off it and it'll taste much better in the morning. 3. Rethink how much food you waste Food waste is as much a plastic issue as it is an ethical and climate issue. Food that goes to landfill will not decompose like food in compost. There isn't enough aeration and it decomposes anaerobically, giving of lots of methane and becoming an icky sludge. Imagine a cow, belching us into global warming just for half of it to be sent to landfill and contribute even more. Seriously though, look at how much plastic covers all your food. Please don't waste that. 4. Don't flush wipes! I get that some of you have princess bums that must be caressed clean with the goose feather softness of Andrex damp toilet tissue but for the love of turtles, do not flush them! The absolute golden rule: Do not flush anything that doesn't dissolve within 10 seconds of agitation in water. It can't be treated in our sewer system, ends up creating blockages, filling overflow pipes, and then ending up in the rivers and sea next time it rains heavily. 5. Stop using plastic tampon applicators Yes, they're super easy, I used to love them when I was a teenager... But you don't need them any more. They're so wasteful, and the amount I've seen washed up on beaches is genuinely gross. Use applicator free tampons, or the card ones, or better yet, a menstrual cup (hand down the best thing that ever happened to my periods). Explore your options! 6. Finally... Talk to people about the changes you're making You're more influential than you think you are. Talk to your family, you friends, your internet buddies, your colleagues, local small business owners you know. A lot of them currently don't even consider their plastic footprint. If you inspire one person to make a change, you've just kept a bunch of plastic out of the eco system. Imagine if you inspired 5 people, and then if they inspired 5 people. People copy eachothers behaviour, so lead by example.

13.01.2022 Do you want to come home and just feel like the goddess you are instead of getting down like Cinderella? We put so much pressure on ourselves these days, and life throws more and more our way. Getting on top of the cleaning can be a nightmare. Let me take that pressure off your hands ;) I currently have 2 fortnightly availabilities. Don't miss out!
13.01.2022 I want to remind you of a little thing called cross contamination. This nurse is showing people how wearing gloves can give a false sense of security when it comes to stopping the spread of germs during the #coronavirus outbreak.
13.01.2022 This is just lovely. Bees are so precious, I love a good bumblebee. I had a pet one myself for a day, never hurt me. I saved her from a puddle. We must cherish our bees, they're so incredibly important to us. Should you see one struggling a little honey will get them on their way.
13.01.2022 Have you missed out on the past? Never fear, I have some mid week spaces available. Get in touch today before they're all gone!
08.01.2022 Why do I avoid bleach? Other than it being incredibly toxic for both you and me but it is corrosive and it doesn't actually kill the mould, it simply removes the stain which is why it's back in no time at all. Instead I opt for clove oil which trumps all else. Not only is clove oil good for mould but it is also antibacterial, antifungal and will kill parasites on top of many other uses unrelated to cleaning. Contrary to popular belief it is not recommended to use on babies skin (teething) but is perfectly safe to be inhaled so long as the oils don't go directly into the nostrils (inhaled directly over a diffuser)
08.01.2022 "But i want my house to SMELL clean afterwards" "You mean you want your house to smell like poison?" The irony of us thinking that for our house to be clean it must be doused in toxins
07.01.2022 I wish people knew how easy it is too make your own non toxic products. And how effective. How you likely have all the ingredients to throw together most of the things you need. And if you wanted to take it further to making your own lip balm, body butter, face cream, etc it's literally a matter of a few reasonably priced ingredients that will make multiple products. Don't be scared, take the plunge. Treat yourself and your precious family to health
06.01.2022 It's time to start considering how much plastic we're buying
